Toughest- Hitman Blood Money "Professional" achievements. Hours of frustration, heartache and tears as I painstakingly made my way through the Pro campaign. No in-game saves. I'm breaking out in a sweat just thinking about it. And to get "Silent Assassin" five times on that playthrough... well... it certainly put me into a coma (practically) after I completed both achievements.

That was pretty nerve racking... No saves really makes you slow down and think. So happy after 5 SAs on pro, then the rest of the game (on pro) was enjoyable and rewarding...

I know no one liked the game much, but how 'bout Perfect Dark having no achievements during the game.  Only multiplayer achievements.

I figured co-op is technically multiplayer so I left those ones out.

I have no life although I play the 360 for a max of two hours a day (around 9-11PM)
I workout every 2 days, have a girlfriend, skateboard almost everyday, have a job. The list goes on, and it's not like you have to get the achievement in 2 days. Lot's of people play gears for months you just have to play all ranked matches to get the achievement which was not hard in the first few months before the update where you cannot see the host's name. If you get the seriously achievement in one month, then I would agree with you that you don't have a life, but take 4 months to half a year to get it, that's normal from playing the game a couple hours a night.

"...not hard...before the update where you cannot see the host's name."

Just curious, how did the update affect this?

I agree with skater. I know that I play a few hours every night. Eventually, even those seemingly impossible achievements come to you. Of course these are called "career" achievements, as in it will take quite a long time. So it's not that one doesen't have a life, it is that the achiever just plays regularly, and well.

Well, before Epic decided to be a bunch of... people, you could see the host's name while searching for ranked matches in GoW. Now, you can't see the host's name, making finding a match that your buddy set up twice as hard, but not impossible. That's been a major problem with GoW: it really isn't gamer-friendly in ranked matches. God forbid, you play with people that you can play with well and that won't quit after 2 rounds...

Got it. Thanks... Guess that's like Bizarre and PGR3 - When you go on-line career, you have no control over who you race with... And it's one race and it off to find another room... It's the use playtime to play with friends approach.

Re: GoW Ranked - So even if a friend in a ranked game, you can't join them, or be invited?

No: no invites, but you can hook up with a friend. It's an artform of guessing and private chat (Wink [;)])

I think any "viral" achievement is pretty tough, since it's pretty much based on luck, not skill.

XD I got the GRAW viral multiplayer achievement the first time I ever played it. I think that ones easy to get now because so many people have it.

Based on my Gears performance over the past week (about 600 kills- and I got revive, curb stomp, and execution achievements, not to mention the DHTP and ATW achievements, I could probably get Seriously in about three more months.

Yeah, I pwned beyond all I thought I could last week... Prollem is that I haven't played Gears since I got DiRT. So, factoring in my laziness, I should be able to get my 10,000th kill by the end of the year.

What about the 0 points, "Know it all" achievement from starting C&C3 without the training. I did the training on the demo so I bypassed it on the copy I bought.

Yea. My disc drive on my 360 is messed up again. It happens to a lot of people though and doesn't scratch my discs so I don't care that much.
