Nah, I didn't mean it like that. But I read in. . .dang, what was it. . . Game Informer? Nah, I think it was EGM. Either way, I read in an interview with the main man behind it that he was dissapointed with sales and felt screwed by sonys nonsense. I'll look for the issue, but basically he said that he felt deceived by Sony and feels that PSP wasn't the best machine to resurrect this game on. Not that XBLA would be any better, considering the low install base in Japan. Probably the DS.

What was the Castlevaina on the ole GBA? That would be cool to see on XBLA. Man, at this point, I would just like to see any sort of 2-D side scrolling action adventure game on arcade.

Konami as a whole is PO'd at Sony right now for refusing to let them withdraw their contract for MGS4. They felt that since they were pulling away from Nintendo, that Sony would be more logical. They were wrong. The sales for the new game were not necessarily bad, just not up to expectation.

There were a couple CV games on the Gameboy, but I believe you are referring to Castlevania: Legends. It was a great game with an even better story. It's a shame that the story was removed from the official time line a few years back. It was so much better when Alucard was the father of the entire Belmont Clan. They decided that the world was not ready for a strong female lead-role and removed the game. It really sucks. Lara did just fine, Sonia would have done even better.

Konami wants to withdraw their contract on MGS4?!?!? Meaning? That Kojima and Sony (and PS3 owners, snicker snicker) are the only ones that want it to stay PS3 exclusive? That would be soooo freaking awesome, but I'm not holding my breath. And I'm sure Microsoft would pay out the nose to get it, but Sony will likely fight teeth and nail to keep a hold on it.

But man how cool would it be to see not just MGS4 on 360, but other future Konami games? Including Castelvania!!

Well, you can start cheering for joy. Sony only has the contract for Metal Gear Solid 4:Guns of the Patriots, not Metal Gear Solid 4: Substatulationistanceince. My point is that Kojima is unhappy with the PS3 as well. He is already making plans for the Director's Cut (Just like Substance and Subsistance) to release on the 360 a year or so after the release of MGS4. Kojima (Although he enjoys the six axis) does not like his game being on a failing platform. He does not want his hit to go on the shelves with the one or two other PS3 exclusives. He also longs for an online multiplayer through Xbox Live. The multiplayer is said to be similar to that of Subsistance.

Hope that cheers you up. And no, no one knows exactly how long it's going to take for the release of the 360 version, but you can stop wanting and start waiting.

LOL, not to doubt you, but until there's some "official announcement", I'll wait paitently. I'm sure there will be some sort of substance or subsistance, but then again there was never a substance or subsistance for MGS 3, which sux. But, you're likely right, it's just a matter of time. And when it happens it will be one of the few remaining nails in the PS3s coffin. All thats left is future FFs like 13, versus 13, Kingdom Hearts, and any possible FF remakes like 7, 8, and 9. After that, its over for PS3.

oh, well, I am mistaken on MGS3, but I was hoping for a xbox with backwards compatability or 360 version. sheit, I'm still waiting on a bc update for MGS2.

but, your surely right about 4, I just want an official announcement so I can hear all the PS3 fanboys collectively cry around the world and watch as forums the netwide explode in outcries of "boycott!!" Just like with DMC4!!

oh, dude, I loved my PSone and two!!! I still love my PS2!! I loved my PS2 more than my xbox, but PS3? A joke. And now a more affordable PS3 is on the market, but dosn't have the BC that it should. Hardly any games worth playing, pricey, and no BC?!?!?! Is the PS3 some sort of joke that only Sony is laughing at. And their laughing all right, at all the people dissalusioned into buying it. No offense.

No offense taken. I made a 500 dollar profit in waiting in line at the release. I then went over to Wally and got some 360 games and saved 400 for next time. Then I got the PS3 and crapped my pants. LoL! I have not played it since the day I bought it.

I would use it to play my PS2 games, but they don't work all the time. Four times out of ten, I put the disc in there and it says that it is an unsupported format. LoL! Stupid thing...
