I've witnessed the glitch of going through a ramp when spinning for more than 5 seconds or something..

But that never really bothered me, as it wasn't a game breaker type of glitch, just annoying to sorts.

BC isnt 5 dollars.

It's also a fully developed, updated port and not just an emulated ROM with little to no effort put into enhancing the game as per Sega's standard. That it sells for $5 less is hardly an excuse for the shoddy quality Sega continues to *** out its legacy again and again with nary an improvement. Sonic 2 is a fantastic game, but Sega is diminishing its luster by just dumping the age old ROM into an emulator to see how much it can reap from its pedigree.

Its not as complicating as he says it is... I bought Sonic2 for 5 bucks because its a classic just like I bought a Sega Genesis for 200 back in the day.

I would spend 5 bucks on Sonic2,3, or Knuckles. But since they released a new compilation I suppose there's no point now.
But when I bought the arcade game about 2 years ago it was well worth it for me. I got a lot of fun out of it and unlocked all 200 achievement points. I also got to save my game.... I never got to save my game in Sonic2 beforehand.
5 dollars may not be worth it to you but to me it was well worth it. Sonic2 was my first 16 bit game and I'd gladly pay 5 dollars for it as opposed to 50-60 for a compilation that has a bunch of games I'd never play. Oh and BC:RA was well worth 10 bucks to.

Five bucks isn't going to bust MY wallet anytime soon, heck.. I used to rent movies EVERY day for five bucks and still had enough to pay my bills and be a mindless consumer..

It's literally the EXACT same with renting a movie that sucks nuts.. It's worth watching, but a major disappointment and a complete waste of a five dollar bill..

First one was the only one I REALLY liked, 2 was "meh", and 3 SUCKS.

But for Sonic, I liked the second one way more (mainly because of the spin addition).

Why do WE need to grow up? We're just stating our opinions, it's not like it's a FACT that Sonic 2 is better than 1. If you think Sonic 2 is better then fine, I'll respect your opinion as long as you respect mine.

And if you think Halo 3 is better that's YOUR OPINION, some people don't like Halo 3 because it's the same thing all over again with not a lot of improvement, I personally like all the Halo games the same but I'll respect someone's opinion if they think a certain Halo is better than the other 2 Halos

Not to mention that Xmas 1992 I got a segagenesis and my first game for it was Sonic2.
I will defend Sonic2 as long as you bash it.... Sonic1 was a great game, but Sonic2 did everything it did right better.
It was also better than Super Mario World in my opinion.
I have many good memories of Sonic2 and to say that a game like Sonic1 were all you do is run and jump is  better is beyond me... The levels in Sonic1 were not that different from each other also.

Sonic2 is childhood memories and Sonic1 is the same I just remember being more fond of Sonic2.
It was worth 300 plus dollars back then and it was more than worth 5 bucks now.
In fact besides Castlevania SOTN Sonic2 was my first XBLA game. I've yet to buy Sonic1 because honestly.....
It bores me...
And I've beaten it plenty of times.
