LMAO. I was wondering if the little one got ahold of it. Is it wireless, or just on it's last legs? Sounds like a good excuse to start Frankensteining your PC. Don't think so. We're pretty strapped for cash right now. To tell the truth, I don't know what my next game will be. Probably be trying to get the most out of current games I own.

Glad to see this thread continued. :)  I am one of "those people" who have taken next week off, so if anyone is around and wanting to play Halo 3, please let me know!  I have been really trying to focus on making progress in several of the games I've owned for a while but haven't done much with, and I think I may be overdoing it a bit as I'm starting to get 360 fingers!  Yeah, my thumbs are actually starting to get sore!  Yes [Y]  I found out our Best Buy is *not* doing a midnight release, so I won't be on until Tuesday afternoon.

Ethanjude - Congrats on the win last weekend! Big Smile [:D] I have *never* stopped watching one of ND's football games, but I was so wound up during the game last week that I almost had to leave my house!  I don't think I've screamed, cursed, and stomped around that much in my life!  All of my "kids" (3 dogs, 2 cats) dove for cover as they aren't used to their momma mutating into a stomping, frothing-at-the-mouth, angry machine.  Embarrassed [:$]  I really, really hope that we pull it together against the Spartans this weekend.  I went to MSU for a semester and I share no love with them...especially after the stunt they pulled last time they were at our house.

*here's to Halo 3 and sore thumbs*  Party!!! [<:o)]   Drinks [D]   Beer [B]

That was not the kind of win that even felt good.  Beating ND this year is similar to how Butcher must feel in a Hot Buns 501 contest.  Sure, he loves it, but is it even any fun when there's no competition?

1.5 work days until Halo 3!  It's going to be a quick weekend.  Dinner with friends tonight, Ethan's first flag football game in the am, Michigan vs. Penn State @ 3, Ethan's B-day party @ 6, church all day Sunday.  Voila.  So close...

I'll probably wait until it lands in homes, and add it to my RE movie collection. Hoping it comes to HD DVD, but don't think it's with a studio that supports the format. I pretty much collect all desent game to movie tie ins. RE, RE2, Silent Hill, Final Fantasy, MK, Riddick, Ghost in the Shell, DOOM.

Thanks for the plug EJ. lol.

LOL.  I was watching some of the second one on TNT HD last night.  I saw them both in one night when my wife was out of town, and they were pretty bad, since they were RE I liked them though.  No way I can convince the MRs. to bite the bullet and go to this one.  Mila is one of those weird actresses too.  Sometimes she looks hot, but then there are the other times...

We need to keep this up and current.

For those who are unaware, this is a list to fill a MP room next weekend for a Halo3 kick-off.  Sign up if you will be getting it.  No date or time announced yet, but we do want to gauge interest and then we start polling to see what time works best.

And if you haven't done it yet, pop in to davc4's site and register.  We (and by "we", I mean "he") are going to be keeping stats, game ratings for kids, challenges, and general noteworthy updates on the site.

I'll be picking up my Halo 3 preorder in the afternoon.  I'll try to get on and play, but I go on business to the UK on the 26th and I won't be back till Oct 4th.  And I can't get to the site from work so I'll try to remember when I'm home and on a computer.

I just started this game in the last week and I must say that I'm having difficultly figuring a few things out too.  Many of the characters can "double jump" - just push A and then A again while in the air.  Sometimes I switch into R2 and fly to where I need to be.

I'm not great at remembering specific boards...but are you talking about the one with the crane?  If so, you can pick up the enemies with the crane and drop them off of the ledge, which will free up the other dude to drop a bridge for you.  Then you can pick up a character (I think it's C3PO in story mode) and drop him over to the door opener.  Just use the double jump for your other guy and you should be set.

If this isn't the board, please feel free to let me know and I'll see what I can do.  I have 60% of the game figured out according to my achievement.  Wink [;)]  I'm not sure I agree with their assessment, but I'll do what I can to help out.

The cups are out, dear.  Sorry there are no Slurpees in your near future.

Kids are great aren't they?  I had one of my wife's co-workers tell me that the kids always call Carrie "the pretty one".  She even gets some feeble love letters from some of them.  Things I like "I think you are pretty."  or "I like you." or "Your husband is a n00b at Gears of War and I pwned his cracker butt!"  First graders are silly like that.

EDIT: I have the PRIMA guide for Lego SW, but keep giving up on it, because Ethan is impatient he keeps overwriting the old saves so I can't get far at all.

Happy POETS day!  See you all online this weekend.

Yes, yes, happy POETS day, and what a week it's been.  Anyone been to a defensive driving course (I am taking one to have a traffic ticket expunged that I got when I was in an accident this week) and want to tell me how horrible it is going to be when on go on Oct 1.  God, I hate bad drivers, especially when I get stuck with the blame.

Well fellow gamer parents i'm off to see Resident evil extinction with the wife. Got to go early in the day to aviod the mass amount of kids that tak during the movie. When I get back i'll let everyone know if it is any good. Also i'll let you know if it's somewhat appropiate for the kiddies to watch (we all know it has violence, blood and most likely cursing) I'll let you know. Later

P.S. Stanglehold is a very strong rent. I beat it yesterday. Haven't tried the multiplayer yet. I give it an 8/10 singleplayer. Non stop action, excellent use of tequila time and tequila bombs. My fav is percision shooting and my wife thinks its hiliarious when I shoot them in certain places lol she is so twisted sometimes. The boss fights are intense and require strategy and use of your tequila time to its max. Tip try for headshots on all your enemies to boost your tequila meter quickly. I'm trying to beat it on hard and wow it is definetly that and hard boiled will probably anger you extremely but it presents a massive challenge. Level layouts are gritty and detailed. The best level in my opinion the level where it is raining is the best level to see the graphical effects i'm talking about. Be warned you will die many times but the stroyline is great.
