I downloaded the trial version on my first xbox and got to level 7. I recently bought the full game on my new elite and downloaded it right to my MU because I go to my friends houses and play there and it worked fine. So now  I started over and worked my way up to  level 14 and below it instead of it saying how much experience I need to level 15 it says I can go no higher in trial....So I play a battle and win then after the battle it reverts me back to level 7 and the character I had on my trial version a few months ago on the old system. I never downloaded the trial on this one. But all of the areas I uncovered are still there just level 7 and I can't go higher. It also says I need to unlock it again...this game is whacked out, Should I try the sign in/out precedure?

If I remember correctly, there should be a procedure somewhere in this thread that you could try.

Chiming in too, I have the same problem only now I can not unlock it at all. Great there went my money.

have yet to try some of the solutions, but felt the need to toss my name in the hat of people this has happen to.

I bought this game when it came out, played the heck out of it and then moved on to other games.

Started it up tonight and had the issue this thread talks about and the only solution is the one in quotes above me.

It really is sad after 6 months, they still haven't fixed this issue. :(

I hope the expansion fixes the unlock game glitch. As much as I love this game it is to much of a pain to redownload everytime I want to play it.

This procedure worked for me. I think the key is to go into your account history to get it certified for play on your system.

You misunderstand or maybe just I explained it poorly…  We have two 360, two Xbox live accounts, and therefore need* two copies of the game. 

* Need is probably the wrong word…  It should be desire but *shrug* we liked it so much on the DS that when we finally got around to getting broadband we wanted it on the 360 too...

Anyhow, the above didn't help me.  I've tried the full unlock at the other system with my own HD from my reguler system and still have no luck...

I restarted my 360 and tried the log-off, log-in trick, and that worked...  it'll annoying, but it works.

The other procedures are bunk.

To play the game with an account that did not purchase the game simply follow the download steps to unlock and after the game is unlocked sign out of the xbox live profile and sign in as the profile you wish to play as.

I have the same problem with this game too, i recently bought my new elite, re-downloaded pq and hey presto i get this stupid trial version instead. I thought it was just me at first until i came on the forums. Its so annoying that you pay for something and then it goes and screws up. This is more annoying than the private first class acheivement glitch when vegas 2 first came out.

Although a patch would and could be good, I just verified this procedure, and it totally works!  After all, I just replaced my old Xbox 360 Premium (dated sometime in Sept. 2006 I believe) with a newer Xbox 360 Arcade (dated Jan. 16, 2008).
