Weird difficulty curve in the game. I passed most of the expert songs without a fail, got Enter Sandman after a couple attempts, and then got hit in the face with a brick on the last five songs.

for some reason, I am HORRIBLE at Don't Fear the Reaper on Hard Guitar...I've gotten 5 stars on EVERYTHING else up to this point, but I just barely passed this last night on like my 10th try...

I don't have a problem with the rhythym, its those damn rolls that keep *** me over.  My best is about 55% before failing out, but I don't see how I'll be able to beat the whole thing...

For guitar expert career....GGAHT.  Damn thee!  Can't get past that for guitar career.  After 5 non-working drums...since release date of 11/20/07...finally got drumset #6...got my "A-NI-MAL" achievement last night.  Hardest for me was Won't Get Fooled Again.  Never really liked The Who.  Run To The Hills was 2nd try then done. Haven't even tried the vocal career yet...I (and my friends, family, strangers, etc.) think I suck at singing.  Tried to set mic near speaker...doesn't work (for BWT). 

for some reason i have never had an issue with GGAHT ever the first time i only failed it once then after that i havent failed it once
but anyway dead on arrival expert drums is where im at right now

The drums (once I finally got a working set of pads) weren't really a problem for me...maybe cause I'm a drummer.  I have to agree with what others have already stated, the drums in Rockband are pretty accurate with it's real-life counterparts.  I honestly believe, that if you can play drums, you should have relatively no problem beating the expert drums career in Rockband.  (Now...if I can only beat "Sskitzo/DVB/Blown Away/azureritereaction" or whatever his real name is...you know the guy the posts the great looking videos of him kickin A$$ on youtube.  That guy is amazing!) Now that all my components work...I was right in recommending to ALL my friends and family...Rockband is WAAAAAAYYYY better the GH3 (see? doesn't even measure up to type the whole title out)

Well, I'm happy to say that I now have the A-Ni-Mal achievement.  I was stuck on DFtR for almost 2 months though.  Once I beat that, cruised through Next to You, Flirtin' With Disaster, and Tom Sawyer.  Run to the Hills, shockingly, took me 2 tries, but WGFA took me about 10 straight, pain in the butt for such a long song.  Now all I've got left is vocals...joy.

I'm jealous....haha.  Nice job.

I got lucky and beat GGAHT on my first try on expert guitar so I dont have to worry about that *** Haha silly people.

I can get really good on Wont Get Fooled up until the long break and the drum fills, I always fail out at the 3rd one :(

i beat run to the hills on my 2nd try and got my heavy hitter achievement today.  i know ill have trouble on expert tho lol. ive been working on all 3 instruments since i had the game. I got  medium on voacls,  working on hard on guitar, and am now expert on drums. i also just got hall of fame on bwt and 2 cities. alot of work in 2 months.DRums are the hardest, but my favorite.

I completely agree, and I'm stuck there too.  I get killed after the solo on Run To The Hills. I use my overdrive to get through the end of the solo, so I fail right after it.  On Highway Star I fail at the end of the solo.  I need to find a way to get further into the solos before I use the overdrive.  As for the other songs I'm nowhere close to passing them.  Eventually I'll get them!

Finally 5*ed Raining Blood!! That makes me a Guitar Hero. My achievements told me so.

I too had issues with most of the last tier of Expert Guitar.

 

RTtH was really a pain in the *** for me because the solo was tough, and the section right after the solo was even harder.  Finally, last night, after practicing the solo for an hour, I was able to get through the solo without Overdrive, and was able to use the full bar of overdrive after the solo to get through the damn song.

 

Now I am trying to get through Flirtin w/ Disaster and GGaHT.  GGaHT I can make it all the way to the G,R,Y,R,G,R,Y,R,G section in the second solo (80% through the song) and I lose it.  I have started practicing doing a finger slide across those 3 buttons to get through it, but I am not quite there yet.

 

I won't even go into the hate I have with Flirtin.  It was a pain on hard, and its twice as bad on expert.

I'm just about at your level, except it took me a LITTLE less time to be FWD on Hard (month and a half)
Also, Timmy was wierd, it was like, I couldn't do it forever, then all of a sudden one day I did it and although I didn't do well, I didn't even come CLOSE to failing...

Currently, I'm not STUCK on anything, because I've stopped playing before I've gotten stuck, though I'm only 6 songs into my expert guitar tour and 12 songs into my hard vocals tour

My regular drummer though is stuck on Dead on Arrival on expert...

Foreplay on drums?  That song is so easy compared to half the drumming tour for me.

I've beaten every song on expert drums in the career except for Don't Fear the Reaper (Damn it to ***!  87% best attempt)

Foreplay if you just double tap the red with your left hand and use your right to hit greens and blues for the intro isn't that difficult; at least, it wasn't for me coming from a drumming background.  Run to the Hills wasn't that hard after being a drummer either.

I am stuck on GGaHT and FWD, expert... Big shocker, eh?
