Has anyone else heard that the special edition comes with real NVG's (Night Vision Goggles)? A friend told me that and I just about fell over, so buying it if it does.

To the extent of how they work exactly is yet to be explained but yes to an extent they will work.

If USA is 1 day behind AUS will we get the game first?

I was asking myself this question... however that would put the game at a Tuesday release... I'm hoping for that but I have a feeling it will be wednesday for us... we can't let america not have another game released there first... like Halo 2... we had like a 9 hr headstart on them... haha good times

Technically yes.

It's a worldwide release on Tuesday 10th November, to match the usual "Tuesday" releases that happen in the US. Europe and our release dates for it have been moved to that same Tuesday as well, instead of the "usual" days of the week (Thursday here, and Friday in the UK and Europe).

So yes, technically we'll be one of the first countries to get it - 8-11 hours before Europe and the UK, and 16-19 hours before the US and Canada. Though New Zealand's slightly ahead of us, so they'd probably be the first country to sell copies...

Mightyape have it listed as $139.99 (bit better).

Amazon.com US version: $59.99 (or just under $90 NZD) ...

Even when you factor in GST and whatnot that's still a serious amount of price gouging. 

Unless that's not the standard version, but the box looks the same as the US one.

It's not really looking as interesting as operation flashpoint though.

Yeah, I agree. It sucks having the price so high compared to the AMAZON pricing. I wonder if the price will go down with the dollar going up.

lol nope not the first loads of people are already playing much to my dissapointment as i have to wait for release date cos sadly i have morals and believe for every pirated game bought or sold is one less chance of that company ever releasing here or anywhere again :(

hells yeah i agree strongly!!!!! im waiting for monday night for eb games to have midnight release and my mate shows up with a pirated copy thinking i would play it!!! DUMB!! i didnt pay $200 for prestiege pack so he could distroy the fun!!! meh thats my winge for the day!
