This is an excellent guide. i got 77/79 achievements on Gears of war 2. (Only ones left is veteran gear which i'm level 79 and like father like son which I well get by tomorrow). Even though I didn't use this guide, I still appriciate the time you put into writing all that information. This is probably one of the best achievement guides I have ever seen for any game so I give you props for that man. This is pretty impressive ;)

hey bro thanks for putting this guide up, but i have a?. for the skeletons in ur closet achevment, me and a friend have gone thru all 10 levels on every map and im not gettin credit for any of them. my progress counter does not pop up in the bottom corner at the end of any wave. Im not sure wtf im doing wrong can you please help me?

I have to point out one problem, maybe it's been mentioned, but just not corrected.

The list of unique executions for the Kick 'Em When They're Down Achievement, is wrong.

The Torque Bow and Long Shot each have two executions, Y and B are valid for both weapons. I just got the achievement only after using both the Y & B buttons with the Torque Bow.

Must of been a glitch, they were not listed. 11 are listed but the B button for the torque bow and sniper were not listed so I left them out.

Hello,

I was emailing the xbox people beause my sons rank was reset. He has more experience than me and the number of hours that he has played the game is more than 600,000 points. Please let me know how to get his rank back and what I need to do. He was going to be a 50 rank and now he is a 2 rank. He dosen't want to play the game because he dosen't feel its fair. We were both racing to get to 100 and now I haven't been able to play with my son. Please HELP!

Sorry to inform you but this has happened to a lot of people who played local multiplayer. Unless Epic and Microsoft decide to restore everyone who was reset then you have to start over.

I need help, I downloaded the flashback map, but it does not work, cant find the maps in multiplayer, downloaded it again, still the same thing happens, nothing, nada! but i can see it in my harddrive. what do you think is wrong with this? Thanks!

I think you're problem could be you are silver?....lol If not that then try clearing your cache and removing the DLC then re-download it.

Sorry for replying...Well anyways, you can download game content even if you have silver. You just need to have internet connection with your xbox to download it. Do what torture trilogy said and it's a good chance it will work.

Clearing your cache will probably fix your problem. You can download game content with XBOX Live Silver, so that's 100% not the problem. If the cache thing doesn't then I don't know what's wrong. Hope if works out for you.
