Well, the worm was glitched and now hes completely gone. His health bar is still there but the worm is gone o.O

All I can tell you to do is reload from the save point an try again, He will get stuck to where you can see him and blast him away with IS's.

I'm giving this a go and found that out a few play throughs ago and I'll tell ya, it's a pain in the rear. If you're not careful, you end up Ot'ing some fiends and have to start over or accidentally hit with with your weapon and have to start over at the save point. Just hope I haven't hit anyone without me seeing it with my weapon.

If you block with the weapon is that the samething as using it and will make it so it won't count as a weaponless run?

No you can block all you want, it doesn't count as a hit.

Weaponless run worked like a charm, Thanks for a great tutorial on getting this done. Cutting open the sacks was a bit tricky and when I seen Ryu sling blood off of the blade it would make me wonder each time if I had cut a ninja or spider. All in all though things went rather well and quick in the end.

No it wasn't too hard at all, Most important aspect was trying to not use the weapon and retaliate when under attack. Zedonuis took a few Voids to get him and Birdboy, I just let him grab me and throw a void when he was in the air except for chapter 13 ofcourse, I used fire ninpo. Genshin I used fire ninpo then would throw an IS immediately behind it because it seems to hit more often. Kudos for making this tutorial & giving help on those much wondered about questions, It will come in handy for many to come.

That's a good question, I wouldn't know to be honest. In theory I would say you're not using your weapon so it should not negate the weaponless run. But I wouldn't take that chance without knowing for sure.

No it does not negate the weaponless run. You can throw as many ninjas as you want. You cannot however throw the scythe at them.

For the worm on weaponless I just used a lvl 2 UT arrow attack from inside a side cavern when he'd pass by. About 10-15 arrows on acolyte.

About my comment above...

I do remember that it seemed immune to arrows at warrior level though, but if you are looking to rack up the weapon master achievements then why not play acolyte...

I'm doing a weaponless run on warrior because it's my only new game+ and it's not that hard. I'm currently on the worm part though

nah it's not hard as long as you don't hit an enemy with the weapon you can swing your weapon and hit the air without a problem
there are two parts in the game where you have to use your weapon without a choice

wind shuriken did nothing. But I got lucky the worm glitched and turned into a big ball that kept spinning in circles it sucked me in for a second and then spit me out and I was able to kill it with IS and arrows

You can use windblades just as the worm comes near you and he will glitch in the tunnel, Throw IS to finish him off. You can also throw IS at the wall tunnel from inside of a cave just as he passes causing it to explode on impact of the wall to cause damage to it as well.

 I didn't try to go any further since I knew Genshin would be more aggressive in Chapter 14 so I took Jah's advice (which was brilliant btw) and started my weapon run before that fight. The rest of the chapter goes by quickly so it's a great place to start each weapon run.

you're fine there's like 2-3 spots you need to swing your weapon on something to move forward
