Well pain train, I grew up playing games. I played from Atari all the way through to my 360. I play whenever I can. But seeing as how some of us have to grow up and do not have time to play games 24/7, things change. I used to stay up all night, and play all day. Then I got a job. Then I started a family and now I have what's called a life. I still stay up all night on the weekends playing CoD with my friends and family, but I don't have the time or money to invest in every game that comes out. Especially when, IMO, there are games out there like CoD that have perfected the graphical, gameplay, story and online portions of gaming. I get my kicks by trying every demo that MS gives us on the Xbox. If it doesn't WOW me, then I'm not spending my hard earned money (that I share with my family) on it. Too many times, games have come out with all the hype and everything going for it. But there are only a few that can live up to it. Those are the games I spend my $60 on. You can say I'm not a serious gamer all you want. But, if you ask me, it's the idiots out there that spend over half a bill on Bionic Commando that don't know what they want and are wasting their money.
