yea i need help would aprreciate it i cannot unlock the achievements the concierge the nutcracker the paramor and the rogue they are all glitched ive cleared the cache made a new game and fufilled the requirements again and i also recovered  my gamertag but still no luck any ideas i am getting really frustrated please anything i even called xbox and this is what they told me to do post  

how can i open the chest in the guild cave cant find it on the site

I apologize, I don't quite understand what you're asking.  The chest doesn't open until you've completed the Hero's Tale, if that's what you mean.

The A Hero's Tale on Fable2.com is very misleading. You get 5 exclusive items not 5 different bundles at the end. The list is as follows:

1. Lionhead Face and Body Tatoos
2. Full Body Chicken Suit
3. Hero Doll
4. Apocalyptic Pink Dye
5. Feign Attack Expression

I've had the same problem. I'm THIRTY. And I'm positive I'm entering the date correctly. Probably just a temporary glitch. I'll try again another time.

I upgraded to a new 360 elite but ddint transfer my memory over to the new hard drive. I downloaded my LE stuff but couldnt find out how to get the stuff from the online games. I tried going back to online game and says i already got the items but the chest only had Hal's items for LE. Anyone know a way to get the items, especially the expression

For some reason every time I attempt to go on the heroes story thing for the prizes it opens up a link to the chicken kicking game instead. Its getting really frustrating

This has got to be the stupidest thing ever. I can't get past the chicken kicking game. The directions aren't really clear, you don't get the same result by doing the same thing twice, and it's just stupid. I've only gotten 115/500 gold necessary to advance. It make it sound like you need to get 500 over 5 games, but I don't have an option to continue, just to redo the stupid game. This is not worth a 50gs achievement. It's stupid they make you have to go on the internet and do this for the last expression.

I finally got over 200. WOOT!!!

Can the achievment be gotten without playing this stupid, bugged game?

so i can play the game just fine and i am also logged into the site, but when i get to the end, pick my crown, and hit claim prize, just says

"HARK!

EITHER YOUR REWARD HAS ALREADY BEEN REDEEMED OR A SERVER ERROR HAS OCCURED. PLEASE TRY AGAIN"

no i dont have any of the items.... so.... is it becuase im logged into xbox live and the site at the same time? cause i dont see a problem with that...

Hmm.  I doubt that would be an issue, but you may try disconnecting your console while you play the game.  I'm not sure if the game updates in real time, or if you have to sign out and sign back in on the console.  If that's not the problem, try the game again.  Provided it fails one more time, I'd chalk it up to the server error and try back later.

In regard to the users asking about the chicken kicking game: Click the links provided in the OP.  This is the last time I'm saying this.  If you can't read the thread before you post, then I'm not helping you; because every other question in this thread is about the chicken kicking issue.  I'm not trying to be mean, but this is both ridiculous and incredibly redundant.  The links Odessa was kind enough to provide (which are now the ones in the OP) work.  The previous link does not.

Just to be clear, this is the last time I'm saying this.  If you can't be bothered to read a few tiny paragraphs, you're out of luck.  Sorry.

Wow, lots of people don't know how to read here.  Sheesh.  Anyway, for those of you who have successfully received the items, about how long did you have to wait?  I did the Hero's Tale about 24 hours ago and still don't have anything in my chest (just keep getting the "go to fable2.com" message).  I thought waiting overnight with my console off would help, but no luck.  I also tried playing through with a new character, as someone suggested earlier, and still nothing.  Replaying the story just gives me the message saying that I've already redeemed the prizes, so that's not the issue.  Did it take this long for any of you?  I've already gone through all suggested steps, so I guess all I can do is wait.  I'm tempted to call the hotline when it's open, but I don't know what they'd be able to do for me.

I am having the same problem.  I played "A Hero's Tale" yesterday afternoon.  Played Fable II later that night and went to the chest...It told me to go to fable2.com.  I tried the chest again today...Same stupid message.  I started a new game just like Murgatroyd7 and probably many other people and still no items.  I went to "A Hero's Tale" again and it tells me I have already claimed my prize, which makes sense since I did already play the game three times with seemingly no problem.  Do I wait longer?  Or is it just hopeless?

I am also experiencing this problem, glad to hear I'm not the only one.

From what I've read on the Lionhead forums, there's no real fix for this yet.  Some people can only access their Limited Edition content, some people can only access the web content (but not the LE), and most can't access either.  Some people have spent a lot of time on the phone with Microsoft to no avail.  So, for the time being, it looks like you just have to try opening the chest and hope you're lucky.

A few people have said that clearing their caché did the trick, but I don't really want to test this out for myself.  Playing the game un-patched is supposed to give you a better chance, but my game appears to have been pre-patched because since starting the game only a few days ago, I've never been prompted to download an update.

Ya, I was signed into XBL while i did the interactive story and haven't recieved my prizes and it's been nearly 2 days... I clicked the redeem prize and it said it sent it but nothing... And it wont let me replay the story...

Well I managed to figure out the problem that so many people have been having with being un-able to open the chest. A friend and I had this as well. Their is a error in the latest patch that Microsoft Studios released not to long ago. It does not allow you use the chest in the guild. (Unless your game is pre-patched, which means your stuffed). The simple solution is to format your drive and remove all your patches. This will 100% allow you to do it, as it has worked on 17 games so far.
WARNING: IF YOU STARTED A CHARACTER AFTER YOU PATCHED YOUR GAME, THEN WHEN YOU REMOVE YOUR PATCH, THAT SAVE WILL CORRUPT, THOUGH JUST BY RE-ISTALLING THE PATCH, IT WILL UN-CORRUPT.

Ok I may have a unique problem here. I have done all the "A Heroes Tale" & kicked the chickens, My 1st character had no problem with the chest, nor did my 2nd, but I've since deleted that character.

I bought a copy of "Fable 2 LE" 2nd-hand and entered the code & my 1st character retrieved the new content.

Here's the problem. Any new characters now only receive the LE content. I've tried to do "A Heroes Tale" again & it says "NO GO AWAY, you've already done all this!" or something along those lines. What can I do?
