Madden 07 looks better then 2k5, only because of the high def graphics , but it is in no way a better football game then 2k5. I was blinded by the nice shiny graphic's for a few months, but now that I've spent a good amount of time with Madden 07 I can see it for what it is, junk.
With Madden 07 you still get:
Strange player movements - if you throw an out pass to your RB or WR he will catch it and run right out of bounds, no matter how hard you try you can't turn him up the field. Same thing on punt returns, if you catch the ball heading toward the sideline you can't turn up field, all you can do is run out of bounds.
Still with Madden - you can't challange plays on line. No alternative uniforms on line. No on line leagues. Ridiculous run game, long bombs that work 90% of the time. Laggy game play and disconnections on line. Poor commentary, no halftime show or weekly highlights.
For a game that is 2 years newer then 2k5 it sure is way behind the times. Several things I've been able to do for the past 2 years in 2k5 still can not be done in Madden 07. I'm embarrassed that I spent $60.00 on this game, and now I'll probably only get $15.00 back for it when I trade it in. I will never buy another EA football game again, they just don't have a clue.
