I keep posting on AH's forum (not the one on xbox.com) and they keep deleting them.  Looks like they worry more about the forums then they do the game.  Keep posting and flood their forums.

Yeah, me and a friend were trying to play this last night, and couldn't play co-op with each other, or against randoms.

I saw how Sierra/VU's response to the problem is basically to give you the finger and close threads there on assaultheroes.com. There's some good PR for ya, guys And today we get the added insult of cr*p themes and pictures being posted on Live, instead of, say FIXING YOUR BROKEN GAME? Another swift move there, MS/Sierra. I sure feel better about the broken coop, now that I can pay 150 points for an Assault Heroes theme....

Sent one off to ign to see if they can get the word out.  Like I've said before, I can't believe we are making a big deal out of this game.  Its good but not that good and if they would just fix the damn thing...

This really sucks!  I love their response over at Sierra...  Let's just ban all the paying customers whose money we took for a defective product and lock all the threads and maybe they'll just go away.  Well, I don't know about you guys but I work hard for my money and this is totally unacceptable to me.  If this is the way Sierra does business, then they can count me out as a return customer.  I hope everyone here feels the same way.

haven't ever gotten coop to successfully work.  i've heard of some people having intermittent success, some having no issues and some like me- hasn't ever worked at all.

Same problem here.  I'm from Illinois.  I tried to invite my brother (from Minnesota), but he couldn't connect.  He then sent the invite, but I too couldn't connect.

Now get this...

My other brother (from Georgia) got a 360 for Christmas.  He sent my brother (from Minnesota) an invite.  This time, my (from Minnesota) brother could play online --- and vice-versa.  My brother (from Minnesota) sent the invite and my brother (from Georgia) and they were able to play online.

I never tried playing online with my brother in Georgia.   This morning I shipped my 360 to get it repaired due to screen freeze issues.

If I do get a replacement or get it the same one back (hopefully repaired) I'll to send another invite to one of my brothers and see what happens.

I'm having the same issue. Assault Heroes official website forum locks any thread that is remotely negative regarding the lack of info and lack of patch. Brutal. I have sent emails to Joystiq and Kotaku. Please do the same.

This is brutal.

They can't even embrace the fact their game's multiplayer component is broken? Jeez. What is wrong with these people.

However, I don't think the company is intent on not listening to feedback, it's just the crappy moderators. Same goes for Xbox.com, to a certain extent. I've gotten some of my threads locked not because the thread is innapropriate or whatever, sometimes it's because the mod has a personal issue :\

There are lots of bad mods around the net, I suppose.

But nontheless, this still sucks Major Balls. Whoo broken multiplayer component!

Same here.  Bought the game to play co-op with a friend, and after 25 attempts we've been unable to even start a single co-op game.  Four times we've gotten as far as a waiting screen.  After ten minutes at the waiting screen, nothing happens.  The rest of our attempts end with a "no games found" message after accepting the invite from the host.  We've tried hosting at both ends, we've tried public and private matches, we've tried pressing A to be "ready" when you send the invite, and none of it seems to make any difference.

We can play Gears of War co-op between the same two 360s with no issue.  What's the word on this bug?

I just got off the phone with Microsoft Customer Solutions (hmpf).  They told me that they cannot refund my points under any circumstances, but they are aware of the problem and are working towards a solution, whether that be refunds or fixing the game.

I told them that I didn't trust that to actually be true and that I wanted a timeline for this solution they are supposedly working on.

They said if I haven't heard from them via telephone within the next week that I should call back.

We'll see how this goes.  My Gold membership recently expired, and I'm wary of giving Microsoft fifty more of my hard-earned dollars based on the problems I've had with this hardware already.  Red ring of death, and now this.

RL friend and I both bought this on day 1. We've tried to CO-OP it at least 2-3 times a week since then and still have yet to play a game.
