Best game of all time.  I'd love to see Shenmue 1 & 2 in the XBLA more than any other game.

Shenmue series are the most incredible amazingly beautiful games I have ever play. They hold a special place in my heart. Shenmue needs to live on. I'm sure this time they would sale alot better if they release shenmue 3. C'mon sega, microsoft this world has a fever and shenmue is the only cure. release shenmue 2 on the marketplace.

So E3 is right around the corner, can we expect any Shenmue announcements?  Sega?  Microsoft?

If only. M$ are not interested in preserving our gaming heritage. Thats why they abandoned Backwards compatibility.

Ah, but they were interested in perserving Shenmue... At least Peter Moore was...  He fought to get Shenmue II brought to America on the original Xbox.  In a interview he even listed Shenmue as the one game he would choose if he could have no other...  It's to bad he is not with Microsoft anymore, he would have put Shenmue I & II on XBLA right away :(

Yeah, Shenmue is the only game that could make driving a fork lift fun. And beating people up every day sure made it a lot funner too.

Count me in for this petition. Also Germany wants to play it one more time and maybe someday see the screen "The End".

I too, put forth my name in this "Call for Shenmue".

The two we have are amazing games that totally gripped me, and I feel, as I'm sure many of you do, done out of a proper ending to the story. A third I would lap up like an alcoholic in a brewery, pre-order a special edition that would come with minatures of the Phoenix and Dragon mirrors, maybe even a copy of that scroll with the tiger on it, and 1 and 2 playable on however many discs. It'd be beautiful. Could you imagine that final fight with Lan Di, all those moves and sexy HD? Epicness waiting to be fulfilled.

Sort it out MS and get this ball rolling!!

I agree. I love the game, but 1,200 MS points is too much for a game that you can pick up for $3 (yes, I've seen several used game stores offer it for $3) with a DVD and no DRM issues. And I seriously doubt high sales on Xbox Originals are going to change Yu Suzuki's mind and make him push out Shenmue III.

Now the original Shenmue would be a different story. I can't be arsed to dig out my Dreamcast to play Shenmue anymore so I'd buy it just out of sheer laziness. It was better than Shenmue II by far.

I plea for this game to come to the xbox 360

I just want everyone to know that the reason i bought an xbox was to play shenmue 2 and the reason i bought an xbox 360 was so i could play shenmue 2 in my room monitor since the game was VGA compatible (60hz)

It would be a dream for shenmue 1 and 2 to come to the xbox 360, i would happily pay for both hands down

i have along with so many others waited too long for this, hopefully this would  entale shenmue 3 coming to the xbox 360

but yes, i would be more than happy to purchase shenmue 1 and 2 for the xbox 360

shenmue definatley needs releasing on xbox arcade, they were great games, definatley one of the best game series's ever in my opinion

and after that we can have shenmue 3

It's obvious that shenmue II by far is the most wanted game on xbl originals, so why dont we have it yet?
I already own the game, but I still want to buy it on xbox originals, having it there is a little hope that number III will come.

I wouldn't keep your hopes up, I would love to see Shenmue III out but I believe it will never be released 

With all that Ryo has learned from Xiuying, Guixiang, Zhouzangh & Jianmin, I really doubt he will kill LanDi. Maybe he will beat Lan Di so bad that it will make Lan Di beg for his life. And then Ryo will stop.  That's the best way to avenge his father. He believes Iwao could never take a life away. That is his legacy.

But maybe I'm wrong and Iwao did murder Sunming Zhao and therefore Ryo's destructive behavior.

Anyways  I'd love to see this game's awesome conclusion in HD format with VF5's visuals.

Yu Suzuki needs to acknowledge the fans.  Sega needs pop that bubble around their heads.  I mean think about it, They risked releasing that crappy Sonic game then released a VF3 on the other console with no online support, and you mean to tell me they're scared to roll the dice on GUARANTEED MONEY ??  How stupid is that?!  Sega, please pull yer' heads outta your rear-ends and give us what we want please.  Shenmue III

WHERE IS SHENMUE III!!!!?????

He finished it (writing wise).  But I also remember him saying something along the lines of him agreeing with Sega.  Shenmue Online was completed a long time ago just never released.  A beta was planned then scrapped.  He's the project lead and he has a lot more say and pull then you're giving him credit for.  He's just to indecisive.  If they were smart, they would'a rode the hype around Virtua Fighter 360, it got decent reviews.  They could'a cross incorporated the characters/story line really subtle and pulled it off the way Itagaki does with DOA and Ninja Gaiden.  A next gen Shenmue would sell itself.  They just lack the vision that they started with.

    You know, I could totally go for this.

With Ikaruga and Soul Calibur coming to Arcade, there's precedent for Dreamcast games on the 360.  Shenmue should be next (and then Project Seaman)   

Where has Yu Suzuki been?  I haven't seen a glimpse of him since E3 last year, and even then he just popped out to see Assassins creed....
