Is Fatal Frame 3 coming to the XBOX or the 360?

no. the third part (the tormented) is already for play station2 but iT´s not sure that it will be published for xbox or xbox360 but as the previous ones... it is suposed to be published later than for play station2 so we will have to wait a little bit more for it; however I think that it will be worth to wait because the editions for xbox are better in my opinion.  the only thing I know about the fourth part is that it won´t continue the story about miku or her family. Appart from this the film about project zero is about to be announced but I have a question.. in my project zero game box it says that it is based on a true story... do u know if that´s true??

XBOX 360 RULEZ!

I haven't heared anything about the 3rd game being released on 360 or on the original xbox, but I can understand a delay if they're updating the graphics and adding new content. I don't think that Project Zero was really based on something that really happened but I am pretty sure that the rituals are genuine. Perhaps there are Japanese stories of villages or houses disappearing after some sort of disaster supposedly resulting from some sort of failed ritual I don't know.

The Tormented probably will not be coming out for XBOX or 360.  Sadly, the sales of the first two were abysmal on Microsoft systems.

 

Apparently, if it's not a shooter, people don't want it.

i know you guys also want Fatal Frame 3 so i emailed techmo and i got this reply

It’s undecided whether there will be further iterations of Fatal Frame on the Xbox or the Xbox 360.  The Fatal Frame series appeals to a smaller audience therefore, making it difficult to bring it out on multiple platforms.  The demand is just not as great for a niche title such as Fatal Frame.

Not to bring up an old thread but this is the first time ive been to the fatal frame part of the xbox forums :) to answer your question "yes" project zero is based on a true story. For those of you who had something called "playstation underground" *it was a magazine that gave you free demo's containing info on games as well as games themselves." anyway on one of the issues they talked about FF1 and how it was based on a true story and they actually went to the locations of the places themselves. If i can find it i will post it up here.

Naw, I read up on that issue a lot in the BCL Forums, there 'may' have been similar places that look like Himuro mansion, but there is NO ACTUAL Himuro Mansion where dead bodies and a sacred ritual took place, in fact, they talked about how there were statements that the line was made up to reel people in.
