I would love to see this game available to play on 360. It was absoloutley brilliant.

If someone looks at this thread does a little math surely they can see the profit to be made from all our hard earned cash.  I myself would purchase the original 2 and most certainly get the 3rd one if it ever arrived.

Come to think of it, Shemue is a great summer game, especially if you are in school and have summer vacation.

I had the good fortune to play the first Shenmue whilst unemployed, so I had all the time in the world to mess around. That was the best.

I just played Shenmue all day, never left the house, and used the Dreamcast to send out 2 resumes a week (to fulfill Unemployment requirements) because I didn't have a computer.

We literally got the internet for use with the Dreamcast. Best Buy had a special where if you bought $200 worth of stuff you got 6 months of MSN dialup for free, so we bought $200 worth of DC stuff (including Shenmue at my wise wife's insistence) and immediately went home and got online.

The 4X4 Evo demo was the first game I ever played online and from there I was hooked on online play.

The law of supply and demand is apparently obsolete these days.

How many people are calling for this game? The online petition alone should secure this as a garunteed sell let alone the various campaign sites and forums. Even the Sega boards are riddled with cries for this game. I imagine Microsoft has a finger in the pie as they released chapter 2 on the x-box. It doesn't take a genious to work out a deal. This would push 360 sales through the roof if released.

As well as shenmue 2 on xbox originals, please release shenmue the movie on the movie downloads marketplace. I presume they ahve the rights for this too as it came bunlded with shenmue 2 on xbox 1.

Lol, If Shenmue III came out, I'm afraid all my brothers and friends with 360's would have to put up with getting that game from me for their birthdays that entire year......

Next year Shenmue are 10 years old, maybe SEGA give us an birthday special and says Shenmue 3 will be released :D i don´t give up my hope, and do everything. i will always spend my money for SEGA to release Shenmue 3. Every month 1$ this is not much, and i will bye Shenmue 3 for 300 bucks or 3 copys, anyway SEGA bring us Shenmue 3

See, I have no problem not getting money into the hands of SEGA.  Don't get me wrong, I love SEGA and proudly have my Dreamcast next to my 360.  But with the way they are barely giving anything to XBLA, yet basically begging their biggest competitor Nintendo to offer their titles on that POS1, I mean Gamecube 1.5, sorry the Wii, it just goes to show that the Japanese businesses will always back one another.

Mark my words, no matter what, even if the release Shenmue II as an original, before long they will have the first one available on the Wii and III will be announced as a Nintendo exlusive.

And yes, I am biased since I don't like Nintendo for their practice of releasing games aimed at non-gamers instead of caring about the people that kept them in business for all those years.  No, not Pokemon fans LOL.  As a matter of fact, the only way I will play NES or SNES games is through a famiclone since I don't want a Nintendo product in my home.  (But all that is beside the point)
