my one stopt now 4 months old

Mine lasted a year, and now it won't charge or turn on. Yippee. Usually when a battery dies its life gets shorter and shorter like what happened with my iPod, but why would my wireless headset just randomly stop working!? I used it the night before, worked fine. Woke up, and lucky me, it doesn't even turn on or charge.

woke up and just wont charge or turn on but i can hear a buzz ?
and iv only had it for a month

i got a wireless headset yesterday for my birthday pluged it in to charge and nothing happened no charge lights no turning on no nothing. so i think hmm just a defect so i got exchange it and what do you think happened to the brand new i just got today? thats right boys and girls same thing. so i call tech suport and they tell me to test it on a friends consol and if it doesnt work just exchange it until you get one that works... what a load of kaakaa.

I just got a Halo 3 wireless headset (new out the box) and it won't even turn on. Maybe because it has never been used for such a long time and it has an extremely low battery life. Support says to let it charge over night if the light doesn't turn on immediately, but i don't even know if its charging and its been on the charger for about 2 hours.

My microphone loves to disconnect and reconnect at random points in time.These cycles are 5-10 seconds in length, which is enough to ruin communication in gears of war. Otherwise it works great.

My wireless mic was having massive disconnecting every 5mins. So I got my mic replaced last week after M$ supervisors refused to replace it since it was a little out of warranty, I got a cool guy to setup the replacement. It was working like new till today it connects to every quadrant but the first one. I call up M$ again and they spend an hr troubleshooting and I got the worst supervisor I have ever talked to, he knew nothing about wireless mic's....or anything

First support agent: "Did you try to take the battery out of the mic?" (wow)
Me: Oh I didnt know you could do that, how to you remove it?
SA: long pause
Me: You want me to break the shinny warranty sticker and open the mic up?
SA: Noooo, Noooo, Dont do that
SA: Did you check the connection to the controller?
Me: Its wireless!
SA: "Can you try connecting the mic and record a message offline?" (Oh really)
Me: Oh I didnt know you could send messages to friends offline
SA: "Yes you can"
Me: Ok its not working (wonder why)
SA: "Could you go to a friends house and see if it works on their 360?" (Are you kidding me)
Me: Is that your way of troubleshooting? Could I try the mic on my PC?
SA: No that would work, you need to test on another 360 and call back latter (she tries to hang up)
Me: Oh hell no your not brushing me off like this, let me test on my PC and talk to your supervisor

SV: "What kind of Headset do you have?"
Me: The Wireless headset"
SV: Talks about rock band mics not being able to navigate the dashboard (I had no idea that had anything to do with my problem)
Me: I have the Wireless headset that you use for any game on XBL to talk to friends
SV: What is the color? And shape?
Me: You dont know what your own product is?? Go on xbox.com or gamestop and look at it, you want me to take a picture of it?
Me: Are you from the US?
SV: what?
Me: Are you from the United Sates of America?
SV: Yes
SV: "Could you blow into the mic to remove dust" ( seriously?)
(After connect connect the headset 3 different ways 100 times I finally convince him its the mic and not the 360 and PC)
SV: Just send in your mic again and we will replace it
Me: No you need to send me a prepaid shipping label, I just paid the $10 to ship this crap last week
SV: Sorry sir but I cannot do that for accessory's

Few min of complaining and im getting a new mic shipped to me . To bad I didn't record this one, this was just some of the highlights. Hopefully I will get the new mic Tuesday since it only takes a day to get here, if only it works.

mine stopped working after 2 days. i took great care of it. when i was done i would put it in the Xbox box that the system came in. I put all my accessories in there. 2 days later i try to use it but wouldnt work. it wouldnt charge. when i contacted customer support they said there is nothing they can do about it. the lady actually told me that they have about 65% other faulty wireless mics.

Mine was working just fine until i had to my xbox in for getting 3 red rings for the second time in 11 months. Got it back last week and the wireless headset no longer syncs to the console. Wireless controller works just fine. What the heck? I get my console back in worse shape?

Mine doesn't even charge anymore. and before it stopped working, i heard buzzing sound in it non stop!

THIS WAS THE SECOND TIME I CALLED!!
i called xbox live support and was connected with a support agent and told him what was wrong.
he must have asked me 9 times what my address was and what was wrong with the thing!
he was a Hispanic man and i couldn't hardly understand him either...
anyways, he eventually gives me a number for my headset so i can see the status of the new one on the xbox website (it was for my system and not the headset!!!!) and he told me i would get it in 2-3 business days.

the first time i called it was on June 22nd and i would get it in 2-3 weeks
when i called back it had been a month and a half!!!!!

i still haven't gotten the new one and its been 3 months!!
WHAT IS THEIR DEAL!!!

please also post in the thread i just linked above. its specific to this issue. and, the agent you spoke to was pulling your chain. the only way to get a replacement is if you send in your broken headset first. and, if you do that, make sure to get a send receipt so you can prove you sent them a wireless headset.

The disconnects every 30 seconds are enough to make you pull your hair out. Has this been fixed? I am using my brothers wireless mic which he bought when it was originally released.

How this crap got past any QA is beyond me.

disconnects about every 5 minutes while sitting within 10 feet of the console...

Funny how this thread has grown since it started and look it still has yet to be addressed by MS! Basically they are just picking their noses at us!
