Ha, they would never do that and cannibalize sales of the older consoles. That's just good business practice. Don't make it obvious to customers that you're getting an older version of something - and to the majority of consumers there's no difference.
Cell phone companies do this specifically. They sell the oldest stock first.
But that is no good I already bought 2 of there shitty old consoles they have sent me numerous refurbs all old models all have died. I don't want to buy another one and fear that I will again get an old model. It is not good buisness practice. There is a difference if it dies again and again that is a difference. They should not be doing this kind of thing I can not afford to keep buying these stupid things.
AS for cell phone companies there old stock is not actually defective by design. It is downright criminal to sell old stock when you know the old stock is junk. Anyone mind telling me how I am supposed to get a new one with out all this BS. I can not go in stores and look at a ton of them that is not possible. For a reason I really don't want to mention but trust me it's a real good reason.
So how am I supposed to ever get a working one. My life is hard enough as most peoples life is without having to deal with this BS. I buy games for entertainment and escape my lifes problems for a bit not have more issues. Think about it this is the exact reason anyone buys games at all. That is there intended purpose is to give you something where you can just have fun for a bit and not worry about everything all the time.
Again I will say it this is not good business practice it's selfish. People calling it a good thing to do are part of the problem. I think someone purposely selling old stock they know is garbage should have criminal consequences. Companies caught doing that should get heavy fines and depending how bad it was jail time. MS would fall under the heavy fine category. Companies need to learn it is not all about them.
Also cannot buy a MW edition console cannot find one for sale or a place to pre order it or anything.
