What you need to do is save the vinyl group and then load it on the other side.  The "all from left to right" makes a mirror image.  Give that a try and see if it works.

I noticed this too, they would be just a  hair off.  didn't try saving it to a group thing yet tho.  I just adjusted mine and moved on as the graphic was for just the one car.

How come sometimes when i insert from right side or left depending on the side i painted on, it makes the image smaler or off a bit? it is always wierd and never matches up. any ideas?

Is it possible to save a paint job from one car to a completley different car. Say like I have a flame paint job on a Vette, and I want the same one on a Lambo? It sounds like you can, but when I try it says that I have nothing saved in that file. If you can, what am I doing wrong? Thanks.

I dont think you can move a paint job to a different model/make of car but you can with the same exact car.

But you can copy one side of a car and save the "Vinyl Group" and paste it on another car

I go to the Paint area, then paint rims and brake, and all I can do is the brake, how do I paint the actual rim a different color.

yo im really hyped about this game but im getting this n shadowrun 2morrow. i just want 2 kno b 4 i get it do i need to purchase anything seperate to put images on my car like this one guy made a lord of the rings car or gears of war car i just want to know how do u do that are there presaved images in this game that allow you to do that or do i need to buy something sseperate =]???

I'm afraid it's not that simple.  You've got to m,ake the images from scratch using the basic geometric shapes,  it takes forever to maske the more complex you'll fink kicking about.    The besr i've done so far is a thundercats logo.

They come from the decals that are in the game. You can have about 4000 layers of decals on the car if you want.



EDIT: Cindarr; have you seen the "Nancy" Carrera GT yet? There is also a Bruce Lee floating about...

It would have been so much better if they had just given us a tool like PAINT or something like that. Stretching & skewing all these little shapes is just retarded. I am an artistic person & even attended art school, but I have no patience for the idiotic process they have come up with. Give me a blank page with normal tools like brushes, lines, circles, fills, etc, and I can make anything I want, and I'll actually enjoy doing it... And I won't see every seam where the moronic ColorForms shapes come together.

I know I have seen a tutorial on how to make fading flames. The kind where the the front is white and the flames fade out to red (or whatever colors). Does anyone know where that is or can anyone tell me how?

i want to make a car that has master chiefs head/helmet on it but cant figure out how to even start it. does anyone have a tutorial/walkthrough on how to make one? i dont have a 360 now since i sent in for repairs but i really want to make this.

you should send it to someone who knows how to make it and send it to them and you could just pay them for their services. Otherwise, even with a tutorial of some sorts, it would still be really hard to do by yourself because you still have to have some artistic talent even to copy.

wait until you get your 360 back then buy a mini cooper S with an unlocked Halo3 design on it for 150K.

if you don't have a 360 right now there really isn't anything you can do right now.
