Happen to me today/ i'll try the ways it says on here and i'll reply.

Thing is i can't believe myself that this game has been out for so long and havn't even fix this issue yet. really poor indeed.

Exactly.  MS dropped the ball with this one. 

yeah the way i did it was to redownload it on the game menu and it works, but you need to do it everytime when you play it.

i have the same problem and i am tired of it cant even play the game i try to downloaded again and dont work at all.

How so. If the old mechine has the errors the new one won't. If it did its the software and you'll proberly need to redownload it.

How so. If the old mechine has the errors the new one won't. If it did its the software and you'll proberly need to redownload it.

They locked the DRM thread lol. Had 183 pages on it, over 5,400 posts, over 186,000 views. It became the main page to discuss Microsoft problems, so I can see why they locked it lol. I imagine they wanted to get that bad press off the forums as soon as possible.

The easiest way I found to get past this "bug" is to either not sign in until you're in the game, or sign out and then re-sign in once the game has loaded.  At that point you're good to go.

I have 2 consoles at home and if I want to play it on both then this method works best for me.  Plus, you can only use the DRM tool once a year, and if one of my consoles dies, I'm SOL for another 12 months.  But thanks anyhow.

Nuka-Cola Quantum made me sterile.

I just got my 360 back from MS a month ago, it had the 3 red lights. Anyway I never had the chance to play this game before my console broke. Well I started up this game a few days ago and I have this same problem. I can't play it without having to unlock it first. I've tired re-downloading it and everything, nothing works.

I tried doing that and you have to be signed into the internet and XBL at the same time. I can't do that, I dont have a router.

Does anyone know of anything else you could do to fix the problem?

At the menu screen, hit the Guide Button and sign out of Xbox LIVE.  Then, still at the menu, press the Guide Button and sign back into Xbox LIVE.

That should solve it.

You might need to restart the game for it to take effect, from then on.

Well, it looks as if a patch has been deployed.  After a quick auto-DL and reboot, it appears to be working perfectly.

Well if that truly is the case, I guess selling their expansion got them to [finally] fix the original, lol =b

I was visiting to make sure I should be able to avoid all that crap and feel comfortable picking up this & expansion

Awesome, thanks for the update! I've been waiting 9 months for them to fix this. If I have time, I'll definitely be picking up this game this weekend.

I actually ran into an odd one recently... loaded up PQ, went to play my Warlock, and it was saying I didn't have the right content pack... obviously something fubar'd with the Expansion =b  I re-dl'd the expansion and it hasnt occurred since but it has me concerned, I have no idea why it did that to me.

Oddly enough to when that happened I could still make other new expansion class characters, but then trying to play with one (e.g. level one bard) got the same message as continuing with the Warlock =b  Odd.

 

Hahaha....... that reminds me of what happened to me.  I had a Wizard with expansion items, and I eventually got the same message.  MULTIPLE times (at different times of the year after the expansion).
A new glitch!  How exciting!  Lolololololol......

I should have the wife try the game & expansion, see if she can even play/use this at all, as she won't be able to download the game, unlike me.  Not like I want to do that before each odd game either...

maybe I'll start a new thread, I cant believe this crap,

1500 points in and I have to play a game to get to play a game I paid for

Maybe it's one of those glitches that you just have to deal with until they fix it?  Lol, it's not that hard to redownload anyway, and it doesn't happen all of the time.
