Im not saying im the best but I belive I am up there. With over 100 Hours of playtime I am a Quake 4 Veteran.

If you guys want fair matches, stay out of ranked matches.  Stick to your private matches and rotate host, so you won't be tempted to kill noobs and people standing around trying to get their 5k games played.

Detriment brags about his 97,000 kills, but 75,000 of those came from boosting, noobs, and people standing still.

Actually I wasn't talking about Quake 4 on PC it was more likely to be Quake 1 or 2 I think but it was over 10years ago so it was probs was Quake 1. So I think that it may very well have changed since he last played.

I did think that he is number one and I still think thta he probably is !

dude who r u.......honestly no one cares for the pc version on this forum n if they do they stay quiet about it cause as far as i know this is a forum for the xbox360 version of Q4..........to me both versions r good but at the end of the day its all about having fun playing i dont care for playing for money

appoint someone to collects entrance fees via pay-pal, say about 25 $ or 20 euro's or sth and distribute the funds to the top three places, after distracting rental for the serv

you'll soon find out how's what in this game

I think that you are talking a lot of rubbish - You can't boost on deathmatch unless you have people standing still and not very many will do that so that is why I said the best in DEATHMATCH. I have never ever heard of you or any of these people - when was the last time that you played ?!

Those are early generation players, sg1. When the game was fairly new and you could find a game in every gametype

I never played at the start - started about a year ago so any of the good players at the start I have never heard of

im one of the very few people that have played quake since the xbox 360 came out. ive played against just about every level of skill. from that i can say who cares about whos the best player when you can look back at all the fun you had playing this game.

yup i dont care who is the best either.....i rate people on who i have the most fun with......like timmy i didnt use to combo kill until miss moufy got a sick combo on me two summers back. just so happened i started combokilling after that n i loved to have combo matches with people n timmy was the only one i had consistant combo matches with...although ill admit most of those where onesided but what can i say it was fun.

man i used to love playing this all the time but after a month or so after halo it proper died out, the best players when i used to be on were

now they ids arnt probally acutate but they were the best at it up till a few months ago. halo 3 pure killed this game off used to be great to play, hard to find matches but ya used to find the party in the end with the regulars and was good to have a game ya cud get up the leaderboard for the month or week if ya won a few matches everyone was a good crew to play with hardly any dicks ,. maybe quantam phsyisis or just me undies were bell ends but still funnny to play with

never understood why they never added to the maps on dlc. was the poor point of the game apart from the frame rate on 360 that they were only about 4/5 maps to play on, compare that with the pc demo of quake 3 which has 4 maps to play online then it pretty much sums up where the game was lacking. but used to be great to play though probally coz i loved quakes and doom from when they were new on the pc.

 

looking forward to unreal 3 like. halo3 was good but its not fast enough for me quake shifts about easily twice as fast and its more fun faster

again you mentionned nothing but players that are at best average in skill

q4 is more than what xbox has to offer, please stop posting about player skill in the xbox forums
