I don't think I'd bother downloading the demo. I mean, it's the 31th the demo will be released. Seriously. That's not even a week before the game it self.

I'd just rather keep being in pain and then wait those last few days and then get the full masterpiece.

But honestly. I can't wait. Recently was in a EB Games with my friends, and I asked the clerk how much the game would cost. He then said the normal version would be $88, and that's like $15 cheaper than normal new Xbox 360 games here in Denmark (We have another currency, but I just "translated" it. And yeah, I know it's expenssive compared to US). I was just like "Whaaaa!!" Nice I just thought. Then he said the Collectors Edition was $100 (I would have expected the normal game was $100, and the CE was about $135). I was just like. Alright, I'd like to pre-order the CE. Even though I don't really care for the extras in the CE, I just like to have the CE, 'cause well, it's a metallic case, and it's just cool for a fan to have the CE of DMC.

Also the clerk apparently didn't know anything about the game, even though he said he was psyched for this game to come. At first he said you didn't get to play as Dante. I then told him you play as the new guy called Nero for like 60% of the game, and then Dante for the last 40%. I think he just ignored me since he after that told me you'll play like the new guy called Nero.

He also started saying Dante was evil in this game. Didn't bother responding him after that though. I just took my receipt and went over to play Guitar Hero 3 with my friends.

Seems kidn of dumb of Capcom to release the demo only a few days before it comes out. Should be out about 2 weeks before I say, no piont getting the demo if it's only 5 days till the game is out.

well it's thursday and they don't have the demo available. they only have the demo available on the ps3.

Why are you guys saying thursday,  If it was the thursday before the game comes out then shouldn't it come out later.  I thought the game was suppose to be out the 5th of February?

The actual full game comes out Feb. 5th, but i dont know when the demo will be out.

The demo is NOT being released on the 31st. That banner is a mock up from the fansite for people wanting a fan kit. If you download the widget the date actually changes so that date is nothing more than an example of how the banner works. So far Capcom has yet to announce any exact date and the only official statement from them was in this months Official Xbox Magazine in the form of an ad saying "Coming soon to Xbox Live Marketplace". The best bet is most likely be the 24th considering the game comes out in Japan on the 31st and the demo is to be released before the Japanese launch and that it's been echoed oh most of the forums due to the fact that it's a thursday which is a day for the demos on Live to be put up and its the last thursday before the Japanese launch. Hopefully it does come out on the 24th.

Accutually Famitsu also reported on the demo giving a more specific release date. It will be released BEFORE next Friday so it will be released on January 24th since Capcom releases DMC4 content on Thursdays.

the demo does come out on the 24th on the JAPANESE MARKETPLACE dont know bout the North American one or not though.

So I would assume everyone is going to make a silver account with Japan as the country to get the demo? hahaha

amazing simply amazing you all keep getting different infomation ok here is the truth the demo might come  out this thursday which is the 24th.Ok now if the damn idiots say demo you play a demo before the game comes out why release a demo on the day your game comes out that is just redundent plus the japanese don't have there own marketplace since we own i repeat america own microsoft.so why would we let the japanese put something on there that we can't access plus we have better games in america that's were all the good devil may cry combos come from.
