ill go with ray lewis. he was the most dominating player on the cover. everyone on the offensive side of the ball did not want [and still does not want] to get hit by him.

I voted for Vince Yound. He seemed to be the "SMARTEST" choice of them all. Best cover would definately be Hester high stepping into the endzone if he ever graces it.

I like legends on the front of Madden, not new guys.

I Am A falcons fan and since michael vick came into the NFL, he has been great. So I think that vick had the best game cover.

wow. maybe the curse extends beyond the injury. looking back at these covers. 2001-Eddie George (no longer plays), 2002-Daunte Culpeper (horrible on the Lions), 2003-Marshall Faulk (retired), 2004-Mike Vick (prison), 2006-Donovan McNabb (going down hill), 2007-Shaun Alexander (released by Redskins after just a few weeks), 2008-Vince Young (doesn't start). The only one that is still pretty good and plays is Ray Lewis of 2005.

Of course they won't be as good as they were. How is retiring a bad thing? They got old and left the game. Big deal. The rest of them aren't as good because, Hey, it's been a while since their prime. Do you really expect them to continue their greatness forever?
