Mine only freezes online and twice playing exhibition against a friend. Never in anything else. HMMMMmmmm..

My xbox is less than a year old. Never any problems with other games. Hmmm

Guys...I've had the 08 freezing on me and also have 09 freezing on me. Thing is, last year, I had an older version of the 360 and bought the new falcon chip 360 5-6 months ago so thought to myself, it cant be the 360 because 2 different consoles, same freezing...BUT, it just hit me today that I swapped my hard drive from old 360 to new 360, to save myself some time of transfering everything so somehow, it must have something to do with the hard drive.

Last night I deleted all Madden files, cleared cache and updates, started franchise from scratch and froze on me at the identical spot where it always froze on me. I'm gonna go buy a 120GB hard drive (I was due anyways) and see if problem persists.

I'll keep this post updated once I have results.

I bought the 120 GB hard drive...freezing issues are now gone so it definitely was my hard drive. My hard drive was from a launch system so this kind of doesnt surprise me. My game would freeze at the identical spot everytime when in Franchise mode. I have just completed 2 franchise games which I was never able to prior switching hard drive. I'd like to know MSFT's response to this one!

EA just released a patch for Nascar 09' and its supposed to have fixed the corrupt profile and freezing issue's just in case you did not know yet.

Saw that in the NASCAR thread. Hopefully that works now if they'd just fix Madden.  

I think it will be fairly soon that EA release's a patch though since Madden is one of if not their premier titles.
