Any good hints for beating expert?

Do the pistol achievement on easy and make sure you don't even pick up a rifle weapon, so you don't accidentally use it.

You can use grenades and your melee attack, BUT you can not use the mounted gun so don't even go near it.  Best to not be tempted to use the big old guns.

I do not see the need for an achievements guide... If you play the game and like it, you'll get the achievements as you play.

know your role
go round in at least 2's
crouch/ melee in a corner is great for repelling hordes and special infected (apart from tanks)
stay away from witches
tanks take at least 30 close range shotty rounds, keep moving and shoot at them when they are trying to navigate an obstacle

First off, it is NM4 that you're talking about, not NM3.  The reason that you did not unlock the achievement is because smacking people off of a roof counts as a death from fall damage.  Good luck on your quest for achievements!

If this it true then i got RIPPED OFF.
story time:
2 of my budies say they're having a go at Death Toll in a private online game and to send them a message for an invite when i get home from work.
Me and another guy both get home and join in the game about the same time a couple hours later. They had so far only gotten to the first safe room. (the church?)
2 or 3 hours later, the 4 of us beat the campaign.
Only two of us made it onto the rescue boat.
NONE OF US GOT THE ACHIEVEMENT.

It's rather difficult to get all achievements in this game!
The AI rate is very high!

Alright this might sound like a noob questions but I have beat the campaign No Mercy but it doesnt give me the achievement.  Do i too need to get in the helicopter? or is it ok if i die?  And please click reply to this post so i get an e-mail about it otherwise ill forget to look back here.

you need to get on the rescue vehicle to get the achievement

That was the 'dashboard glitch' a load of people used to use to farm the expert achievements with little effort, allowed people to jump in at any time and get the achievement for a whole campaign's worth of playing. They fixed it last month.
To get the expert achievements, you need to be there from the lobby, play start to finish, survive the finale, and never go idle.

Yeah i heard bout that 1 but it is definitely fixed.
I think you can get the zombicidal maniac achievment just by doing a finale from the start on expert but i don't know bout that (can sum1 tell me if i'm right or not?) but i learnt the hard way to get that achievment you have to make it to the rescue vehicle.
I still haven't got it. The tank got me before i made it to the plane :( But it does count to the 'What Are You Trying To Prove?' Achievment, thank god. You just have to have 1 person make it on the vehicle to be counted as finishing that campaign on expert, but you have to play the campaign all the way thru on expert, people think if u change difficulty right at the end it counts but i doesn't, it bugs me people who try and change the difficulty right at the end. I was once on a team where the other 3 guys got wiped out by a tank coz they were voting to change difficulty at the end of dead air. It was funny.

I have a question about the Zombie Genocidest achievement, do you have to do that all in either campaign, versus, or survival separetly, or can it be collectivley overall the times you played it at all?

Oh, I just had an amazing post in which all of you can't even come close to toping so you can only admire it. Grimed.

That achievement is "collective". You can track the amount of kills on the achievements tab on the main menu.
