   Ha, ha. Glad to see I'm not the only one looking at posts, thinking it doesn't sound like the voice of who I think I'm reading. Had the same problem with P1rho using the gamerpic (Assassins Creed) that Artie used to use. I think someone else that hadn't posted in awhile came in with a gamerpic someone that was regularly posting had. lol. Gets a little confusing sometimes.

I wanted to be counted in that, too.  I agree the assistance off controls and camera were kind of weird.  But I know from playing the demo, I was paying attention to the scenery more than the battle field.  It will be an interesting title when it comes out.

Good morning Gents, I am a super proud Papa Bear today.  yesterday, while at work my daughter called me to tell me she was pregnant!! 

I would have to kill her, instead she told me those words gamers love to hear, " I unlocked four achievments for you!"  Then, when I got home I got four more in NFS: Undercover, then back to my kids,  My son and I made it to Level 40 of the Horde, just the two of us.  though I am certain he did the lions share of the work.  I think we could have made it to 50, but it was late and he has school.

I expect Braid to run away with this, but personally I would go with Castle Crashers or possibly SFII.


EDIT:  Did you all notice that it now displays your membership level below your gamertag in the upper right of the page?  It even has a nifty gold trim around the gamerpic.

I noticed the update and was looking for any other little quirks.

I changed my gamerpic when NXE came out but ultimately had to go back.  Don't know why it was just what I had used for a really long time.  It was like a part of my card was missing.

I'll be voting on the XBLA when I get home tonight.

That is what is killing me, you themed it so well, except for that. The illusion is torn.  I don't feel like Bilbo in the films...rather like Bilbo in The Lord of the Rings: The Battle for Middle-earth II.

Its all good, I typed in JK after the line about her being pregnant, but I must have deleted it when trying to correct my horrible typing.  The running joke in my house has our youngest daughter, 13 yrs old, getting knocked up before the oldest one, she is the wild child.  I can wait a VERY long time before being a grandfather.

So I guess I'll pose a question to all: I might be getting a game this Friday.  I'm leaning toward L4D, but idk if I should wait and just get RE5.  I don't mind the wait, but I just want to get some input from everyone.  I've never played RE before (never really got into the series), and I've read that 5 will kinda tie into previous games in the series.  I don't mind jumping in at the end, and the game doesn't have to make much sense, but if RE has THAT good of a storyline, and idk if RE5 will have MP.....hmmm idk.....anyways, thoughts? comments? random pieces of gibberish? lol

RE5 has a "stand to shoot" philosophy.  In other words see those bad guys?  You have to stop to shoot at them.  This is the single largest complaint people have about the game.  They want to run and gun and that's just not the RE style (yet).  Try the demo to see if you can tolerate it.  Yes, it has online and offline co-op but no vs. to speak of.

L4D has an amazing co-op system and a great vs. gameplay.  Whereas most games you and your opponents are the same character just with different skin, L4D puts you in the shoes of the special infected which is a lot of fun.  Solo is good enough to warrant a play through now and again, even though I've been through them all several times.  It has no real story, but gets by just fine without it.
