LOL. Yeah no kidding. I thought I was safe... guess not.  My sub that was ordered way too long ago is already paid for and supposed to be here soon.  The other plans for room treatments are now on hold... stupid economy

Phantom , I think you would have a more audible difference from the second sub vs. changing out one excellent amp for another excellent amp (either amp will deliver the goods for those Paradigms) .

Hmm....but that B&K amp is getting a little long in the tooth.  I've had it for a solid 6 years or so.  After doing some more research.....I'm not sure the Anthem A5 is what I want.....leaning more toward the Parasound Halo A51 now.  Your right though, there would be more audible difference with the 2nd sub.  However, I'm not really sure the 2nd sub is totally necessary.

Thanks.
The Blu-Ray player is alright. I got it as a gift so it was not my first choice but it does well and I shan't look a gift horse in the mouth. A little slower than my HD DVD player, but the picture is great. So no complaints really.

If you have never experienced multiple subs, then you have no idea what you are missing. You'd be surprised the overall improvement another JL will provide. Now, I have no idea what kind of room gain you have going on, but it is a fact that multiple JL's will help with the overall distortion levels, and output with ULF's. Not to mention the overall in room response.

Long story short, get the other sub, and I guarantee you will wonder what took you so long.

I did run dual subs many years ago.  At the time ('00-'01), I had an Acoustic Research speaker system (Mains - AR3s, Center- AR2C, Rears- AR15s, Sub- ARS-500).  I later supplemented the ARS-500 subwoofer with a Sunfire Signature Subwoofer.  I had the Sunfire in the front left corner and the AR in the rear right corner.  It worked out pretty good, but they were clearly not equals as far as output (the Sunfire blew the AR out of the water).

If I do get the 2nd JL Audio f113, I'll probably use both of them to flank my media cabinet, then have the front L/R speakers flank those to the outside.  The bass shall be formidable.  :-)    We'll see.........

Well I finally broke my New Year's resolution which was not to buy any more electronics this year.  I'm surprised I lasted this long.  I ended up buying a Popcorn Hour A-110 .  I bought it for backing up all my DVD's in a digital format since it reads .ISO files with full DVD menu support which is great.  It can handle any format you throw at it and is open source and has a lot of community support for different apps and web services.  So far this thing is great.  Can copy anything from my computer to its internal hard drive over the network and vice versa.  This device is defentely not for the non techie and does have a learning curve to it though.

Not a bad system at all for a bedroom set-up.  Nice!  My only recommendation would be more of a corner placement for the sub.  It also appears that you have way too much toe-in on the mains to get proper imaging and soundstage.

I really don't have any other spot for the sub, sounds pretty good though where its at. As for the toe-in; I sit about 5-6 feet away from my display, at that distance there is actually no toe-in. The tweeters on top are actually toed-in slightly.

    Tell me about it.
I have a VERY nice set-up but it is ~5-6 years old ('cept for the TV). I'd love to upgrade but I don't need to and my wallet's telling me I can't anyway...Stick out tongue [:P]
At some point, you just gotta be happy with what ya got!

My stuff (in the living room):
    Sony KDL-52W4100 52" LCD (1080p)
    Anthem AVM 20 pre/pro
    Rotel RMB-1075 amp
B&W CDM 9NT speakers (as well as the matching center & surrounds but I don't have them hooked upSad [:(])
Samsung HD-931 DVD player (upconverts to 720p or 1080i)
    FiOS (Motorola) HD DVR

    (in the bedroom):
    LG 20LS7D 20" LCD (768pNo [N])
    FiOS HD STB

And, of course a 360 that gets moved from room to room.

It's not could of or should of.
    It's could've or should've.

Love your setup; very clean, very classy.

I think removing the A/V from the front sound stage is a very easy step that can give anybodies setup the custom look. I think it also makes for a very clean, uncluttered setup.

I had to buy some cheap bookshelf speakers to get me by until the Paradigms come in.  So now, my speaker set-up consists of a pair of Polk TSI200's that are seriously overshadowed by the JL Audio Fathom f113 subwoofer.  I'm now convinced that given a very solid subwoofer....even crappy speakers can sound decent.

I had to buy some cheap bookshelf speakers to get me by until the Paradigms come in.  So now, my speaker set-up consists of a pair of Polk TSI200's that are seriously overshadowed by the JL Audio Fathom f113 subwoofer.  I'm now convinced that given a very solid subwoofer....even crappy speakers can sound decent.
nothing crappy about the polk ts 1200's ....my friend owns a pair. I think they sound very good.

I agree.  I guess I should say that my expectations were that it would sound crappy because the speakers were so dang cheap.  They were alright though.  The certainly don't fill a room like my MLs did, but given their size...I was impressed.
