How do you get a sticky? Do I (as OP) have to request it?
Would be nice cuz it seems to reappear quite often.

You can even hit stuff as long as it's not an enemy.

Ok re-assuring news, thanks. Yeah i think the Moderators sticky when they see a use full post with lots of views/high ratings. And its annoyig that i have to go to the 3rd page to see this. So as the M's are being a bit ignorent (as usual) you should probably request to have it stickied.

I gave it good rating, then maybe a mod will notice and sticky it. Plenty of good info here.

Re: RE: Re: Tips & Tricks for the weaponless run
On my first run prior to the weaponless to gather all the weapons and get essence stored up, it doesn't matter if I use multiple weapons right? Basically I don't have to just use the dragon sword, but can mix it up.

It should only matter on my next play through, when only using projectiles and ninpo.... Can anyone confirm?

Confirmed!
I made my first run a DS run but you can use anything you want; it's a gathering run. Don't use anything though! (except the Deamon seals) Save everything for the weaponless run.

Where can I find the mods to send my request to?

I think on each forum there is a Mod forum at the top which beascily says the rules and i think those are the moderators who right those. So your best bet is to speak with them.

Re: RE: Re: Tips & Tricks for the weaponless run
So it seems when you start a new game based on a game difficulty you completed you get the message:

"You have completed the game at this difficulty. You can now begin a new game with all of the weapons and Ninpo that you have gathered. Your weapons and Ninpo will be reduced to their lowest power level. You will still be able to upload your score to the leaderboards."

So, upgrading all the weapons without the need is a waste of money (or should I say essence).... You shouldn't upgrade your ninpo's either.

Update: Never mind, you have to load the completed game and start from there....

Re: Tips & Tricks for the weaponless run
Yes I achually think you have discovered how the game is achually ment to be played att harder difficulties. Consider that a Ninja is always focused on his mission, and never fights unless he must. The mission comes first, although this game offers many entertainning ways to defeat the enemies.

Words of wisdom indeed. :)

Re: Tips & Tricks for the weaponless run
You can use any move, weapon except your primary weapon eg.. Dragon Sword, Lunar Staff except during chapter 13 when you have to cut open the sacks then you want to be very careful to not hit any fiends with your primary weapon when doing so.

Never argue with an Idiot. He'll only bring you down to his level and beat you with experience.

No, I wasn't able to destroy the sacks with any projectile even fully charged. The only one I'm not sure of is the IS, don't remember if I tried it or not, but remember being forced to use the DS on the sack.

Re: Tips & Tricks for the weaponless run
So for the 1st run, you don't use any items that will permanently increase your health?  Wouldn't this be very difficult, seeing how you start out with very little health?

It is a lot easier than it sounds especially if you have beaten the game on warrior or mentor. Patience and perseverance my friend!

I just can't imagine fighting all of the bosses with the default amount of health.

Ditto.  Nice guide.  When I finally get back to my weaponless run, I will be using this.  I started the run before and got frustrated trying to find parts in the posts to help my game.  Well, that's not completely true.  COD came out got two jobs, school full time and a girlfriend (almost wife) to occupy my time so I had no time for this, but I haven't forgot this game.

Re: Tips & Tricks for the weaponless run
I think I'm missing something.  On the first or second page it talks about restarting the game with fully upgraded weapons as well as all of the items carried over from the first game.  I'm not doing a weaponless run, I actually want to take the time to go through the game with each weapon, I was just wondering why when I started a new file on the same difficulty, only my weapons carry over, but they are reduced to their lowest levels.

You started what is called a new game plus; meaning you have all weapons and ninpo but at level 1.
You can also load your finished game and then you will keep all upgraded weapons and all the other stuff.
