It's not doing very well (it had 7 sigs when I found it).  I made posts about it at cheapassgamer, teamxbox, and originaltrilogy forums, but I didn't get very positive responses.  People complaining that the game itself is crap, that petitions are worthless, or that they'd happily buy the Sith Edition...  So, I was happy to see so many people here sharing my opinion, but we really should get lined up and counted on the same list.

FYI- The site doesn't require registration of any kind to sign.  I've been ready to sign online petitions before just to find out that they want me to create an account and send them way too much of my personal information.  This site asks for your name, your e-mail address, and your comments to LucasArts.

Seriously peeved about this.  800 XBL points for a 40 minute jaunt on Tatooine (and I wasn't racing through it!).  The trailer showed Hoth stuff, so I just assumed it was all in >:(

So either I've wasted 800 XBL, as I've not gotten what I was lead to believe was being sold (I didn't see anywhere "This is only half of it so buy the game again, thus wasting points on the Jedi Academy DLC too, if you want it all".

So people who didn't bother with the game originally get everything for however much Ultimate Sith is going for, whereas most of us paid £40 for the game, probably around 800 XBL points for Jedi Academy and now another 800 XBL points for HALF of the DLC.

I played this game at my cousins and really enjoyed it but neer got round to getting it even though i like Star Wars a lot (especially KotOR). But does the ultimate edition have every piece of DLC including the new one to download people say is coming out soon?
Also, i agree with most people here, i don't have the game yet so it dosen't apply but why aren't they releasing Hoth as seperate DLC, they'd make more money that way as a lot less people will rebuy the game compared to how many would download the DLC. I can't think of any game that does this, all other special editions of games that come with DLC (Fallout 3, Oblivion etc.) have that DLC available seperatley. It seems a bit stupid on their part.

I am not getting tatooine until hoth is available as DLC.  Boycott tatooine until hoth is available.  Might be too late for this but anyone thinking about it don't buy it until hoth is available. This is typical lucasarts tho.  How many times over the years have we seen the super ultimate edition of the star wars movies with never before seen footage or added footage with a bobble head and new box covers and toilet paper (exagerating there on that one) only to have ANOTHER super duper never before seen footage with added footage with blah blah blah a year later. And they realized that people will actually pay for this so now they are using that same strategy on the video game industry. Hopefully tatooine does not meet expectations (financially) because of this blatant disregard for the fans who helped make the game the success it was. And then hopefully the "were getting cornholed dry edition" also does not meet financial expectations for the same reason.

First off: I am all for petitioning, protesting, and boycotting.  So don't mistake my comments here...

But I think it's wrong to say that this is "business as usual" for LucasArts or any other software company.  When a DVD comes out with new special features or scenes, there's really no way to simply offer those new features to the previous purchasers for a small fee.  Yes, there have been tons of Home Video releases of the Star Wars movies or any other successful format.  And yeah, they could offer a rebate to people who already owned the movie on VHS or DVD, and this has been done in some cases (the Disney Classics $10 rebate for VHS Proof-of-Purchases, or the Lord of the Rings Theatrical -> Extended upgrade rebates), but that's really going the extra mile. 

Lots of other game studios have offered "collected" or "game of the year" editions of their games with additional content.  Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind did this on xbox without throwing a bone to existing users because the xbox didn't have a convenient way of getting all of the extra content at the time.  At least it wasn't industry standard at the time.  But besides Force Unleashed, I can't think of another release where some expansions were delivered as DLC to a point, and then it was only offered in a collected edition.

In conclusion, I think this is the an all new low being sunk to as opposed to "business as usual."  And that calls for extra voice of the people.  I am also not buying Tatooine DLC until Hoth is released.  I am also writing 1 star reviews on Amazon and other online points of sale.

Make them feel our disgust in their wallet.

I just watched GTTV's episode where they talked about the new Hoth level.

Haden Blackman said that "we don't currently have any plans to release it", but I am pretty sure they will.  He didn't definitively say "no".

Still, I will probably wait until it only costs $15 used, then buy it.

ok i would like to say something...i agree that hoth should be released as dlc...no doubt....did i download the hoth level well yes...but only out of my pure love for this game....i have an addiction...i have to get all of the achievements for it....i know it sounds sad but its true i admit it....now while i agree that hoth should be dlc there are a few things i have seen posters saying....they dont want to pay $60 for this game....well i have looked it up and not once have i seen the price as 59.99...i have seen it listed for 39.99 everywere i have looked though...it comes with extra coustumes,extra disk,collector cards and i have seen some place's says it comes with a lithograph...and collectors tin....so yes hoth should be dlc i agree and would/will petition that one point but to say the game is compleatly a rip off is another story.

Thankful for a true blue SW game finally. Something away from this Clone Wars cannon stuff and child-like games. Missing the old games like the Dark Forces Tri. TFU reminded me of it. But anyways, stupid not to release Hoth content on XBox. Afterall, The players of Xbox are the ones that made the game worth remaking for the pc. Have a little respect for the fans.

As soon as Lucasarts made the announcement at Comic-con, I immediately traded in my copy of  TFU because I knew it would drop in value as soon as the Sith edition came out. I used the proceeds of the trade to pre-purchase the Sith edition. The Sith edition is not a full price game. It will cost around $40, not the $60 that people are tossing around here (check the Gamestop website). That means it only cost me $20 for all the DLC, including the exclusive Hoth content (unless something changes..) I did the same thing with Fallout 3. Got a great trade value so it might cost me an additional $20 for the new edition but it saves me $50 on all of the DLC.

It made the most sense to me. Cut my losses with the original games and wait for the new ones. Lots of other games to play until they come out.

You guys do know that Hayden Blackman said about a month ago that he could not imagine Hoth DLC would not come out as a standalone sooner or later! This I interpreted as yes its coming after they sell the Retail Sith Edition as he was put on the spot by the interviewer gave a knowing smile like yes its coming but I cannot confirm it yet.

Sorry cannot remember where it was but it was around the time he was doing gaming media interviews online for the Tatooine DLC.

I wish a Hoth planet level, even if it's not the Sith Edition level, they should also make a Endor level and a Naboo level :)
