Only thing we got from them was silence. Moore stated in a post E3 interview that Banjo was an 08 tittle.

But Ive noticed a slight trend with them and the 360... One classic, one new each cycle. PDZ & Kameo/ ViVa Pinata &Banjo.

Let's see now... The orig banjo team is working on banjo and another crew(not rare) is working on ViVa Party. They own the rights to KI, so politics are out(I hope). If fundraising is an issue(shouldn't be), uh bless the arcade with da KI series. Two things are sure... A boat load of cash and a couple of XBLA records that should stand for a long time.  I really think since they know how much demand is there, they going to keep it as a last resort in case the "testing new waters" approach falls flat.

  I'll go ahead and give the dead horse another kick. I would love to see the arcade version of Killer Instinct 2 placed on Live Arcade. If it was, I would immediately download it that very day.

Absolutely... dream scenario would be for Killer Instinct and Killer Instinct 2 to be released as arcade-perfect ports for XBLA, followed by Killer Instinct 3 for 360... I would lose so much sleep!!!  oh, and for all to have online multiplayer...

I just read the updated scribes over at rare and the replier of the letters is being less of an *** about the subject. Someone asked the KI3 Question, and was given an answer that sounds like the idea is definitly being tossed around in so many words. Oh and on a funnier note, he straight dissed the idea of it coming to PS3!

Rumor going around that they are making a new one called Killer Instinct 3D: Death, Destruction, Doom or something like that.  They are going with 3D fighting but I hope they do it like Street Fighter 4, 3D animation, 2D fighting.

Blegh!  3D animation, hence CG with 2D fighting style....where's the fun in that?  Ya know what I wish more CG fighters had was a little more environnmental interactivity during fights, kinda but not quite like the old arena type fighting games.  But yea, I hope like *** they're able to make a KI3 as well, Fulgore was my favorite.  I couldn't possibly picture Rare doin what Capcom is doin with SF4...it just doesn't seem like the 2 mix together very well in my opinion; Kinda a waste of resources or whatever to hold CG in 2D style fighting.

i agree with all of u i wish that microsoft would put killer instinct on the market place as a downloadable game in the arcade. I would purchase the game cause it was so f---------ig cool. now that rareware is owned by microsoft. i dont see why thy wont please somebody hear our crys and help.

personally this game would go down in my books as one of the best games i ever played

Ok. What will Rare's 09 announcement be?! Banjo is out, both new and the throwback. Viva Pinata and sequel plus a party version complete. NXE project is complete. Couple of DS projects in the bag. PDZ, Kameo, and Jetpac round out the roster.

Please bless us with it already... its been over 10 years... Bring back the ULTRA, the combos(the game guide was ridiculous). The genre is crying for your return.

They will have a hard time beating the original Killer Instinct, add it to xbox arcade and i will be the happiest person alive = )!
