The shots will be off, but if you are a pro then you will learn to make the shots. Plus its all about your mechanics when shooting and your ability to get your shot off...practice practice practice....but MO MOSS why do the children shoot at the same rim...the game is in need of a change

to teach them so when they r older they have practiced. the problem is not mechanics but if u teach someone something for lets say 10 years and then at the last min change it . im sorry i just think its a bad idea!!

 my son is 11 and plays on a traveling team, so when he is high school he will have a good feel for the game and the rims! have u ever played at the park and the rims r off, its hard man real hard!!

I guess you all forgot about Julius "Dr. J" Erving.

I would almost say that it has to be Wilt. No three point line in his era, 100 pts.,  and all this other business, but the stats for players in Wilt's era were ridiculous. Who can average 40 boards nowadays in a season. Average a triple double in a season( Big O). Win 13 championships( Russel). In the end I'll just say Jordan. Style and substance and 6 championships.
