The achievement is earned when playing Single player -- "splitscreen" in the achievement description was a mistake.

Don't take this the wrong way, but we're on page 5 of a thread dedicated to explaining this one error and the same question is still being asked...

From my experience with them on this platform, being 2 games (GRAW and Rainbow), I don't think they have done a particularly good job with the achievements. GRAW's were completely ridiculous. They offered  little and often random points eg. 8 points for co-op mission. They also had stupidly difficult ones such as become climb the leader boards. How much time, on ranked alone, must you spend to do such a thing. I hope they revise their achievements for GRAW 2. This rainbow achievement was an unforgivable mistake. Worse is they haven't corrected it. I'm glad i did not go to the trouble of doing it in split screen else i'd be very angry. Other than this one i think every other achievement is solid with a satisfying amount of GS for what it is. They are also very achievable, except i can't do the host a 16 player match to save my life.

This does bring up the point of Achievements in all games and i do want to see the end of ludicrously long, or difficult tasks for such little GS. If its long, or hard i want something worthwhile.

Try hosting a match as a dedicated server! A&D in Calypso should fill up fast enough.

And no, they don't spawn in the same place, but they don't need to, at every location there's always a spot from which you can take 'm down, no mather where they spawn or approach you from.

Yeah... it doesn't matter what options you choose as long as you complete the Terrorist Hunt in single player mode.

I have a new respect for those who completed it on Realistic.  I completed them all at Normal difficulty but the terrorists are just brutal at Realistic difficulty.

I actually had to laugh when I was holding off a big group of them from some decent cover and they decide to flashbang me followed by a frag.  D**n... nice move... far from their use of random smoke grenades in Normal difficulty.

Please don't treat me like an idiot. obviously you use a dedicated server, its the filling up thats difficult.

to the guys that have got the achievements, when you played realistic did you have to have the density on high or can you put it on low and still get the achievement?

You can put it on low. I just got done doing to normal mode on low.

COOP is online and SPLITSCREEN is offline. For the library, the best way i found was and this might be long so sit tight:

1-go to the front door, open it and then walk back to the column and lean there to cover the door, a few terrorist will come out, wait a couple of seconds and move on to another door.(i dont go in yet)

2-the side door, i do the same thing, open the door then move back to the corner wall.(usually, there's only one terrorist there).

3-the two floors with the ropes at the back of the building, same thing, climb to the window but dont enter, just kill the terrorist in the room then move to a defencev position(the van near the corner is good). Then do the same at the second level.

4-The back door, the van in the street close to the stairs is a good place to fall back.

5- go on the roof and climb the other rope on the other side, not all the way down, some terrorist will be coming out through the door on the second floor, wait and shoot them, when that is done, go back to the front and start entering the library but use the same tacticts. Find a terrorist and move back to a safer position and wait for them to come to you.

It works great for me, if you use the same tacticts in all of the map, find a defensseve position and use it to kill them.

NO, so put it on realistic and go with "Low" and you should be able to do it in under 2hrs... (that's how long it took me)
