Starting A New Game and KEEPING All Your PLANES
everyone talks about not getting a jet the first time through. well once you finish the game once, you can restart with all your planes in the SAME profile and keep your rank and rewards.  Select NEW GAME and save over the old profile.  You will play through game again, but missions you beat will be marked complete.  it will take 3 times through to play EVERY mission. but you will have all your old planes.  enjoy. also you can change difficulty at any time using this method of starting a new game

didn't think i would lie to you did you? it does work, and if you still dont' believe copy your file and try on the copy. you do have to play the first mission with the F14A but you should get the F14B after you replay the first mission... also i have a post about how to avoid freezing when you unlock planes.

is it true what is being said about having to beat it on each difficulty setting (ultimately getting h.ell difficulty) in order to get every plane?

Re: Starting A New Game and KEEPING All Your PLANES

how do you get new colors or paint jobs for the planes because I heard you could but I cant figure it out.

Also is there a Blue Angles one because I htink they use the F 18 and I have it but I cant seem to figure out the paint job things.

Re: Starting A New Game and KEEPING All Your PLANES

the achievements say something about "play well scenario mode" to get the "premium" rewards and such.... I just wish I knew what constitues "playing well" and "play very well".. ...  those seem to be the requirements for getting the thunderbird paint scheme on the F-16 and the blue angel paint scheme on the F-18

so if anyone knows what playing well and playing very well is, I'd sure like to know

Playing well is expert mode, I think. And very well is the highest diffuculty (h.e.l.l).

How To Copy:

Enter Load Game screen... hit B, Enter Load Game screen and now the other options are selectable. Select Copy, select profile (it'll turn blue) and then select empty slot, say yes (A) when asked... done!

NECROPOST!!!!

As a 'newb' to the forum, might I ask what exactly is a necropost.  Given your rather inflated font size, colour use, underlining, not to mention the rather repititious use of exclamation, I can only assume it is some kind of insult.

From my understanding a tag is used when a user would like to include something into their my forums list, but it should not be used excessively.  Given that this is the very First time I've used a tag and that I really needed to know that information, I take offense to what appears to be an action Very unbecoming a person w/ a community user level of 3.

I searched out this community because this is a great game, and you have a lot of really useful information here for us.  I commend those who I've seen show the patience new players to games deserve.   And suggest you follow their example.

If there is some other explanation for your comment, I would surely like to hear it.  And apologize to the thread for this off topic post.

Thank you.

I had looked up the def. since my post, though appreciate the feedback; and will add that my knowing what he was referring to does in no way change my response.

I assumed there was a reason, it was the method delivered that was offensive.  We all had to start somewhere.

Sucks to be new to a game and not enjoy the same benefits as others on the forum, but I fully understand the concept and the pain it would be to constantly have people reviving the old stuff.  Will avoid accessing info that way in the future.
