wots the best way to bomb because im on area 4 now trying to unlock the F-117A and i need to bomb some target's, but im not sure wot im mean't to be doing or looking at.

Keep pushing the Y button until your sight has changed armament to your bomb.  You can tell this has happened when there is a green line going down from the center sight with a circle reticle at the end of it.  Put the circle on the target and press the green skittle.

On the F117 mission, follow each of the waypoints on your map. After you pass waypoint 9, switch to bombs by pressing Y. When it says lock, look at the screen right below your hud. You will see the outline of a B2 bomber. Turn your nightvision off if you have it on, and note the lines of the runway by the plane. Dump one bomb, then switch targets. If the lines look different, good, because you have selected the other plane. Dump the last bomb, then wait for the results.

If you select your bombs and then hold down A, you switch to automatic release mode.  You'll know its working because as you get close to the target, the green vertical line that appears on your screen will have a marker moving slowly downwards.

Just keep A held down while lining up the crosshair with taps of the left/right trigger.

If you do all of those things right, the altitude doesn't really come into it.

As long as you're using "expert" controls then when you tap the triggers you can shift the crosshair left and right (horizontally).  Keep it as close to the vertical green line as possible.

It's tempting to fly down towards your target so you can see what you're aiming at, but trust your instrument readouts.  Only check after the automatic release if you really want to.

I think I'm doing this but nothing is hittings its target.

Only other thing i can think of is that you could be flying over the wrong target (i.e. a highlighted one, but not the one that you've selected)

I just did this, without auto bomb. I did a dive bomb. Not the most conventional tactic, but it worked great. I think I dropped the bombs at around 2,000ft. but make sure you're dropping them on the orange targets labled "b-2". And you don't have to go to each waypoint, when the level starts, you can just fly straight and you'll get to point 10 MUCH faster.

So the 'Auto' mode is just an automatic release for your bombs?  I was thinking it was something completely different.  Thanks for the clarification....
