Stealth works when you turn off your after burners, your plan will be harder to spot, and it is really ahrd to lock on too.

Push left on the d-pad for stealth mode.

Re: How does Stealth mode work? (f-22)
Stealth mode makes your F-22A radar switch to LPI (Low Probability of Intercept) mode.  That's a feature found on some current-generation AESA radar sets.  Look at the left-hand cockpit display (actually in the cockpit).  In normal mode, the purple lines showing you the radar scan area are pretty wide.  Throw stealth mode on, and they shrink down quite a bit.  What this means is that your radar beam is narrower and less likely to be picked up by an enemy, so they don't know you're there.  If you turn it on in Over G, you'll lock onto targets at slightly shorter ranges, and they have to be pretty close to being in front of you, but they won't know you're around until they start trying to dodge your missiles, or if you get around 5-10 miles from them depending on what they are.  Also, don't use afterburners in stealth mode, they can pick up on that and find you.

Well, yep.  Switch out of Missile Mode into Nav Mode, so your radar stops actively searching for a target to lock on to.

Stealth (EmCon M1 on the F22) plus Nav mode, is the lowest emission profile.  It doesn't mean that people can't lock on to you, but it minimizes you showing up on their radar, since your radar is not actively searching for targets.

Also, your plane's stealthiness is reduced by any weapons you carry on the wing pods.

You can't use stealth mode, because I already have it copywritten.  Just like your "squad" name.

Loser
