Chaos Theory Cooperative Walkthrough

Stealth Walkthrough for Co-op Story Mode

 

All missions are done on the expert setting with friendly fire off because who wants to get shot by their partner!  The goal with the guide is to get 100% on each mission and minimize the KO’s and/or Kills.  This does mean sacrificing some really good opportunities for killing.

 

The esteemed HANDLEBARS played the role of sidekick for the guide.

 

Mission 1: Panama

 

Objective:  Hack into the archives

Objective:  Hack into server

 

You and your partner start outside the bank in the rain.  There are 3 guards in the area.  You have to make your way to the upper left corner to an open window to access the building.

 

Head to the right and into the darkness with your partner and then cross the path towards the bushes.  It is important that you stay in the dark (use your stealth meter) and work your way around the area in the darkness.

 

Head to the right just past the lamp before the 2 guards (they are chatting up a storm).  Stop in the corner and have your partner put his back towards the wall and then use the co-op action to boost up to grab the ledge.

 

Once you grab the ledge, allow your partner to use you as a human ladder.  Make sure you brace for the impact and don’t get too ticklish.

 

Once he’s up, pull yourself up.  Now you’ll have to do the boost again to grab the ledge near the open window.  Make sure that you are in darkness and the lightning has passed.  Grab the ledge, then let your partner grab you again without him buying you dinner.

 

You’ve now entered the building.  Straight ahead is a door to a hallway which gives you a few options.  Wait for the guard to enter the room and then follow him out, you may have to wait about a minute, but it’s worth it.

 

Approach the door and have your partner hit the lights as you open the door.  Head to the right and pause near where the wall sticks out a bit and use the OCP on the camera.  Your partner is to approach the camera and hack the door on the left.  Once the hacking is done, have your partner use the OCP on the camera and catch up to him.  Remember to close the door behind you.

 

Go through the next door and head left.  Hug the wall on the right and then use the OCP on the light and have your partner pass the camera and go to the opposite side.  Repeat the process and catch up to him.  On the right side past the junction is a guard room of sorts with 2 guards.  Ignore them and sneak past the blurred windows.  Head to the right at the intersection and go all the way down the hall and hack the door on the left.  And remember to use the optic cable to check if it is clear to open the door.  Head to the right and hack the door on the right and then use the elevator and go up.

 

The door opens up and you are in the middle of a long hallway.  The archives are to the right, so that’s the place to go.  On the left ahead is another guard station occupied by one of the friendly neighborhood armed goon types.  Use the OCP on the light and pass by the station and then repeat the OCP favor for the partner.

 

The next room contains two retinal scanners, so you’ll each have to take one and hack it.  The door will open up into a library with one guard up top.  The archive computer is on the bottom floor (the one you are on) in the middle. 

 

Position one spy in the lower right corner of the room to spot the guard.  When the guard begins moving, tell your partner to move to the computer.  Hack it and have Lambert chime in as usual and tell you the job isn’t done yet.  Typical, all that work and the mission is never easy.

 

Lambert will tell you that you have to get to the server room on the opposite side of the building on the ground floor.  Head back out of the archives room and past the retinal scanners.

 

Use the OCP again on the light and leapfrog each other.  Continue down the hall and enter the last door on the right.  Head through the hall and open the door and turn left.  There is an open vent above you near the door.  Toss your partner up and then climb him.

 

You will exit above a storage room.  A guard will enter the room shortly, but before he does, drop down to the ground as soon as you enter the room.  Hide on either side of the door and let him pass.  Then exit the room and head right and use the optic cable on the door.

 

Wait for the guard patrolling just outside to open the door opposite you.  Open the door when he does and follow him in.  Have your partner wait in the hall.  Turn off the lights in the room with the guard while your partner shoots the first two lights in the hall.  When it is safe, head out and to the left.  Your partner should move up the hall and open the first door on the right and switch off the lights in the room.

 

Head up towards your partner and allow the patrolling guard to pass you.  Your partner should be ahead of you, have him open the next door on the left.  Then catch up with him. Now for some timing: use the OCP and have your partner approach the sliding door.  Have him turn out the lights and join him.  Move one spy to the right side. 

 

There is one guard opposite you.  Have the other spy use the OCP on the light and when that guard moves away, head in and down the stairs.  Turn right and hit the lights for your partner.  Have him wait above the stairs in the dark near the potted tree.  The guard will follow you down, so find the hiding spot in the duct (grab the ledge).  Wait for him to turn the lights on and head back up.  When he does, turn the lights out and have your spy partner meet you.  Hide in the duct and wait for the music to die down and the guard to return to normal.

 

You and your partner will have to use the inverted drop.  One of you will lower your partner nearly all the way down the shaft.  Stop when the hanging partner  can hack a switch.  The switch raises the cage.  Pull the spy back up and then head back down the hall and to the balcony.

 

The goal here is to make it to the opposite balcony without hitting the floor because you’ll die if you fall.  Hop over the railing and shimmy across the hall. 

 

Hop the railing and use the elevator, go down to the ground floor.  To the right is a red light, one spy will use the OCP on the light that deactivates the laser grid.  The other must run to the other side of the room.  Repeat the favor for the other spy.

 

The hallway leads to the server room and two unfriendly guards.  The best method here is to use just one spy to enter the server room and get the data.  The other spy stays in the hallway on the right side in the dark. 

 

One spy approaches the door and the other uses the OCP on the light near the door.  Open the door when the light is out and hug the wall on the left.  Work around the room towards the door.  One guard will leave and patrol from the room and into the hallway.  The other is stationary.

 

Open the door to the server room, go to the left and around the stacks and use the computer.  Don’t worry about the camera as it cannot see you if you stay on the ground.  Lambert will pat you on the back and tell you to get back to the insertion point for extraction. The tough part, as always, is exiting stage left. 

 

Stealth open the door out of the server room if possible.  If the guard is alerted, hide and then repeat the process.  Head out and go to the right and work around the room towards the door.  Wait for the other guard to return and let him enter and then toss a smoke grenade and when the grenade is tossed, have your partner use the OCP on the light and then exit and run down the hall to safety. 

 

The two will come out and investigate, stay put and hide and wait for it to clear.  Head back out and repeat the OCP procedure to cross the laser grid room.  Head to the left and find two staircases and two guards.  One guard is stationary and the other guard will patrol up and down the stairs.  When the patrol heads up the stairs, go up the opposite stairs.

 

Head through to the next area and head right. Open the door, turn left and approach the next door on the right down the hall.  Make sure to use the OCP as there will be a guard on patrol (the same one that you saw as you entered the building).  When safe, open the door and take the first door on the right.  Hop out the window and drop back down to the ground.

 

All you have to do is get back to where you started from.  Just reverse the path that you used for entry.  Approach the truck near the wall, mission over.

Mission 2: Seoul

 

Objective: Capture Jong Pom Chu

Objective: Destroy two AA

Objective: Get to cybercafé

Objective: Get to extraction with Jong

 

Opportunity Objective: Interrogate NK officer

Opportunity Objective: Sabotage engine on Jong’s boat

 

 

You and your partner start in an alley.  Head straight and then take a right.  There is one guard here who should start firing.  Keep going right, he won’t see you.  Pause just past the wall beginning on the left.  Use a co-op maneuver and boost your teammate up to the ledge.

 

Climb up over him and hug the wall ahead.  The hanging partner should move to the right and pull himself up and hide against the wall opposite you.  There is one patrolling guard in the room.  When he begins to walk towards the door in the upper left corner, enter and follow the guard.

 

Pause at the wall on the right of the door.  The guard will exit, when he does, enter the room.

 

There is a hole in the right corner.  Ignore the prompt to do the inverted hang.  Just drop down one by one.  Use the computer and hack it to get the code for the hotel back door.

 

You have one patrol in the next room to worry about, along with a turret and the guard from the street.  Be careful of the guard from the street as he will enter the room and approach the room with the computer.

 

You have to go around the left of the room and towards the turret.  There is a light near the turret, so you will need team work.  One spy will use the OCP on the light while the other disables the turret. 

 

Wait for the guard to return to the center of the room and have your teammate disable the light then join him.  Wait for the guard to return and then leave towards the other end of the room.  Pick the lock and enter the next room, closing the door behind you.

 

In the center of this room is a hole, drop down and don’t worry about the light that just went on.  Move towards the wall opposite the barred door.  Use the boost maneuver and boost your partner up.  Then climb up over him. 

 

Switch off the lights and then choose the locked door.  Have your partner open the other door and use the OCP on the light to distract the patrol.  Pick the lock and then enter the next room and open the next door.

 

You should see the civilian and he’ll run upstairs.  Ignore him for now.  With your partner, head towards the staircase.  Have one head up the stairs in the dark and the other downstairs and use the OCP on the light.  [Funny side note: if you alert the guard on the lower level, he’ll scream “Say hello to my little friend!”]

 

Head up stairs and pause at the top near the wall and then the other spy moves up in the dark.  Then use the OCP on the light up top to allow your partner to join you.

 

You have to head to the right down the hall.  The guard should have his back to the hall, so don’t worry about him.  Have one spy work the keypad door and the other go in and talk to the fake Jong.  KO the fake Jong and leave him in the bathroom. 

 

Now, join your partner at the door.  One spy will use the keypad door (you have the code).  Once it is open, the other spy will use the OCP on the light above the door.  The other enters.  The entering spy should pick up the bottle in the room and throw it behind the two guards in here.  Then use the OCP on the light in the hall to allow the other spy to enter.  Leave the door open and enter the room and go to the upper right corner with your partner.

 

Have one spy stay on the wall.  The other will hug the wall and go behind the two dolts.  You will be able to grab the officer without alerting his guard, but have your partner use the OCP on the light just before you grab him.  Drag the officer back to the wall adjacent to the door in the dark.  Interrogate him and he’ll tell you that special forces took Jong out the back alley. 

 

Now you have to escape the room, KO the officer and leave him in the dark corner.  Have one spy wait in the boost position below the wall opposite the door.  The other spy will pick up the bottle in the room (near the door).  Approach your partner and then toss the bottle in the corner away from you and your partner to distract the guard.  Then do the boost and ladder.  Then climb over the fence here and then to the right and through the next narrow passage. 

 

You’ve reached the first AA site.  There are two guards below you and one on a platform. Take turns using the OCP and sliding down the zipline.  The timing has to be just right so you don’t alert the guards below: make sure the patrolling guard above the area to the left is walking and not paused when you zip down.

 

When you reach the ground, wait for the guards to go away from the back of the AA.  When that happens, approach the back and initiate the climb on shoulder move.  Place the charges and head back to the bushes.  Work around the area on the wall so that you make an L pattern around the area towards the lit area with a passage way underground [Note: the pattern to get to the trench varies as the two guards don’t always do the same thing].  Go up the stairs and wait here.  You must make sure the two guards are away from the AA before you blow it up.

 

You will have to use the OCP a few times on various lights to lure them away.  When they are in front, detonate the charge.  Then use the OCP on the light below you.  Have one spy hop over and then repeat.

 

Go through the passage and into the next area.  This is the last AA you have to worry about.  Hop up and stay in the right corner, wait for the patrolling guard to pass and sit down, then head past him towards the back of the AA.   Have one spy pause at the stairs near the AA and use the OCP on the light above the sitting guard opposite you.  The other spy should kill the light in the back of the AA.  Join your partner and initiate the shoulder boost and place the charge.

 

Drop down and have your partner exit the area via the ladder in the open manhole near the AA.  Head back towards the area you entered and then use the OCP on the same light to distract the 3 guards and lure them away from the back of the AA.  Then detonate the charge and head down the ladder.

 

You’ll also be treated to a surprise guest appearance of the famous Sam Fisher over the com.  Drop into the water and go left and then at the wall, put your back to it and do the boost and ladder.

 

You will come into a lit courtyard, follow the path/alley down and enter the last room on the right.  On the left side is a half open sliding gate with two guards outside.  Switch off the lights and exit the room via the open gate when the two guards go to the right. 

 

Stop at the ladder and employ some teamwork.  The boat with the turret next to it presents an opportunity objective.  Have one spy stay up top and use the OCP on the turret to allow the other spy to deactivate it.  But wait until the two patrolling guards pass the stairs and are near/under a red light.  Then disable the turret and have the partner approach the boat.  Disable the turret and puncture the fuel tank of the boat.  All three guards in the area will notice something.  Retreat to your partner and up the ladder when all 3 head for the boat and go down the stairs.

 

Now work your way around the area up top and use the OCP on the lights and leapfrog each other to go 270 degrees around.  Eventually, you will reach an alley on the right.  Be careful as there is one patrolling guard here.

 

Use the OCP on the light and allow your partner to go down the alley into darkness.  Don’t leapfrog here with the OCP.  Have one spy wait in the dark and the other get to the partner when the guard turns around.  Have the spy down the alley follow the guard by staying on the right.  Then head around the corner when the guard turns around again.  The other spy will repeat the sneak

 

Pick up a smoke grenade for each spy in the truck.  Now head to the fence opposite the truck.  Stay to the right and climb up and over the fence.  Have one spy head for the door and the crates next to it.  When safe, join your partner and then use the boost maneuver here to toss a spy up. 

 

Let him enter the building and then the other spy should return to the truck.  The spy who is outside will now equip a flash bang grenade.  Aim for the second window (the one past the fence).  Wait for your partner to get near the door.  Toss the flash into the window.  Wait for it to explode and then toss a smoke grenade into the room.  Your partner opens the door and tosses his smoke grenade.  Then hug the wall on the right and enter Jong’s room (it should be open).  The package will take off once you cross the threshold.  Follow him and allow him to open the fire door. 

 

Keep the outside spy near the truck and have the OCP ready for the light above the fire door when your partner lets you know Jong is about to open the door.  Grab Jong once he opens the door and take him to the truck to finish the mission

 

[Stats:  2 KOs, 0 bullets, 19:26; note the game says 90% even though you have completed all objectives but have to KO the fake Jong, will return to this mission to figure out why]

 

Mission 3: Chemical Bunker

 

Objective: Infiltrate Bunker

Objective: Recover viral protocol from main lab

Objective: Acquire appropriate chimp blood serum

Objective: Retrieve sample of anti-virus from cryogenic chamber

Objective: Retrieve viral sample from one of the missiles

 

Opportunity Objective: Recover videotape of the monkey autopsy

 

Head around the corner to the left and head to the left and towards the hill.  And then stay on the edge and work to the fence.  Be careful of the guard above you when you do this.  Hop the fence one at a time.

 

Ahead is a ladder down, but wait until the guard here pauses and walks away from the ladder.  Hop down when he turns and follow him around to the entrance to the other silo.  Quickly turn right and then hop up on the ledge.

 

Initiate the duel rappel and lower your partner all the way down.  He will have to hit a switch on the left side (as you face the missile).  Then, pull your partner back up. 

 

Head to the other silo and hop up on the ledge.  The switch the button and wait for the elevator to come up.  Have one spy jump to it.  The other presses the button and jumps to the elevator.  Ride it all the way down.

 

Turn around and find the light, pause in the dark so you can see the light.  There is one patrolling guard that goes up and down the stairs.  Wait for the guard to come all the way up and then follow him down, staying on the left side of the stairs for darkness.

 

At the bottom on the left is a crawl space, enter and exit.  Use the boost feature to the left and then ladder over your teammate.  Enter the next crawlspace and exit, listen to the conversation below. 

 

Then Lambert will again tell you to pick up some viral material.  Shopping is never done with him.  Go straight and enter the next crawl space.  Head right and up the ladder and into the next crawl space.

 

Follow the path and you will notice an opening in the floor.  This leads to a lab with a scientist and a monkey behind glass.  No peep shows, perverts.  Have the lead spy equip a sticky cam and shoot it at the wall in front.  Use the camera to watch the scientist.  He has a pattern of peeping at the monkey for about 20-25 seconds and then he’ll walk to his computer and stay for about another 20 seconds or so.

 

He will return to the window and then to his microscope (which is in the light).  When he begins moving towards the monkey peep show, drop down one by one.  Have one spy head for the door and use the optic cable.  The other follows the spy and hides in the right corner.

 

There is one patrol in the hall here, wait for him to approach the door and turn around.  When he walks away from the door, open it and head left into the darkness and hug the wall on the left. 

 

Hack the door on the left, but do not enter the room.  This will cause a nice distraction.  Now, cross the hall and hug the wall on the right.  One guard will pass you on his way back to the door.  He will notice the lab door is open.  His buddy will now be in the hall behind him.  Both will investigate. 

 

When one passes you, have your partner follow him closely and to the left.  The other spy has to distract the other guard by using the OCP on the light. 

 

Once your partner rounds the corner of the hall, he can deactivate the turret and laser grid.  Then continue following the guard and stop at the corner in the dark and let him turn.  Then let him pass and be careful of the light and the scientist below.  Get into the corner and wait.

 

Meanwhile, at the other end of the hall, wait for the patrols to return and then make the door slide open when the guard returns.  Both will notice and investigate.  Slowly sneak past and then around the corner and then down the hall, following your teammate’s wake.

 

Pause in the dark corner above the lab and have your partner use the OCP on the light, then join him in the opposite corner.  Then turn the corner and pause in the middle above the lab. 

 

Have one spy stay up above and watch the area.  The other spy continues along the wall and drops down to an office through an open trap.  The monkey autopsy is right there when you drop down.  Pick it up.  There is one guard in the room at a computer. 

 

Communicate with your partner and when ready, use the OCP on the X-ray viewer, which kills the lights in the room.  This is the cue for your partner to cross diagonally across to the upper left corner of the room.

 

For the partner, head towards the middle of the room so that you face the X-ray viewer and your back is to the wall.  Drop down and shimmy towards the door your buddy went through.  Listen for the camera pan.  When it starts to pan away, count to 6 and drop down.  Then head through the door.

 

Turn right and pause at the top of the stairs.  There are three doors here.  There is also a guard that will enter the area, so you have to be careful.  Wait for him to pass and exit.

 

Have one spy hack the door and then enter, hugging the window.  Head for the red switch while your buddy heads to the door to the left, this switch opens the door for your buddy.  Head back out after your buddy enters and hide at the top of the stairs.

 

The partner who entered the lab is going to hug the wall on the right.  One guard will enter the room from the sliding door on the right side. Allow him to enter, then the walking spy will enter through the sliding door.  Use the computer in this room and get the info from the computer.  Wait in the dark corner for the guard to return and then follow him out.

 

Now, you have to get the filing cabinet in the upper left corner.  Have your partner stay on the right once he passes through the door.  Let the other guard leave the room, then approach his desk, by hugging the wall.  Make sure the spy doing all the work heads back to the hiding space near the sliding door.

 

Exit and turn left, watch for the patrolling guard and head through the door when he exits the area.  You have to head upstairs now.  At the top of the second flight of stairs is a camera.  One spy will have to use the OCP on the light near the door.  Repeat the favor and enter the next hall. 

 

The door here opens up into the hallway with the turret and laser grid that was previously disabled, meaning this is going to be a *** because you can’t see the far patrolling guard.

 

You will have to cue the long patrolling guard.  So open the door and spin around then close it.  This should cue him.  He will walk past you and around the corner.  [Note: he sometimes gets stuck].  Let him walk around the corner then exit.  One spy will head down the hall and the other will use the OCP on the floodlight when the spy approaches the corner.

 

Have the partner head to the freezer, which is the hacked door on the right.  Head in and around the corner and hack the next door.  This is the freezer with the goodies you need to pick up (the sample of the chimp blood serum). [Have one spy take A, the other will retrieve B]

 

The partner has to look out for the long patrolling guard, when he passes the door and heads towards the overlook of the lab, tell your partner it is safe to exit and head back to the door you are standing at. 

 

Have the spy who went to the freezer return to the room with the other spy.  Now the other spy has to repeat the procedure of grabbing a vile from the freezer.  Just repeat the above process and on the return head around the corner as you did the first time you were in the area.  You will come to the opening above the lab with the doctor and the x-rays.  Head around and place yourself above the one door you haven’t entered (lower right corner as you enter the area).

 

Wait for the doctor to turn around and walk back to the X-ray viewer.  Be mindful of the camera as well!  Then drop down to the ground when the camera pans away.  The door will slide open, then find a safe dark area.

 

Wait for the patrolling guard then follow him back down the hall.  The cryo chamber is just ahead to the left, past the camera on the wall. 

 

Enter the chamber and do the right sequence (see your notes).  Then exit, this will cue the elevator and a guard will exit from the elevator and go on patrol.  This will make things very difficult as you must make it to the elevator and use it.  [Note: the spy in the chamber nearest the stairs may have to wait to open the door and exit to the left into darkness]

 

Now have the spy on the left side of the stairs (as you face out) lure the two guards into the chamber room.  Walk back around the room to lure them further in and around.  Once they are lured, the other spy will head up the stairs and hug the wall on the left.  When the camera is panning away from the elevator, head to the switch to open the door and head in.  Wait for your partner here. 

 

The other spy will have to repeat the camera sneak and head to the elevator.  Use the elevator to go to the top and then you each find a dark corner of the elevator.  There is a patrol up here who will spot you if you are in the light.

 

Wait for him to turn around and head away from the elevator.  Then open the door and head left.  Pass the crates on the left and hug the wall.  The other spy hugs the crates to the right.

 

Allow the guard to pass and then head to the door and open it and enter.  Head straight towards the large crates and climb and make sure you close the door behind you.

 

You have to get to the upper left corner (doorway with a light above it—as you have your right side to the door you entered. 

 

Then climb the boxes near the shelves on the side wall.  Have your partner use the OCP on the light above the door you entered.  This will distract the two guards in the room so that your partner can hack both retinal scanners.

 

Be careful of the patrolling guard beyond the doors.  One spy enter at a time while the other keeps using the OCP on the light to distract the two.  When your partner signals it is safe, enter the retinal scan doors and head to the right and into darkness on the wall.

 

Wait for the patrol to head towards your dark corner.  Have one spy follow him and stay on the right side of him.  Do not go through the door when he does, make sure you stay to the right and allow him to pass.  When he heads for your partner, enter through the door and then shoot the light and hug the wall on the right. 

 

Now, have the partner repeat the follow the guard procedure and head to the left.  Wait for the guard to return and then join your partner in the middle of the room (open grates).  You are now above the cryochamber.  Use the inverted drop and lower your partner into the chamber to grab the sample.  Pull him back up and then throw your partner across the gap and then go open the door on the right side.

 

There is a guard around the corner who faces a sliding door.  Now for a tricky part, have each spy take one side of the hall and hug it.  Move forward to cue the door.  When the guard moves, head to the corner and wait for him to turn around and pass you.  Then enter the room and call the elevator and go down.

 

Be careful of the guard who will enter near the elevator.  Wait for him to leave.  Now you will have to split up again.  One spy will head to the left side of the platform and through the door, he will operate the crane.

 

The other spy will head to the right corner and then hop on top of a barrel.  Turn around and drop down one level by level until you hit the ground.  Hug the right wall and head to the upper right corner.  You have to guide your partner’s crane operation to drop the missile into a cradle in the corner. 

 

When he does it, he will have to join you. Then you will have to deactivate the frickin’ bomb.  Take out the flood light unless you want to die many times.  When the controller vibrates for both spies, hit the a button.  Then pickup the goodies.

 

Time to exit, finally!  There is a trap door just below where you dropped down to the missile area.  Find it and go down.  Drop down to the water to the left.  Then use the boost and ladder.  There is a ladder on the right side climb it and you find out that you aren’t alone.

 

Have both spies head towards the big crate in the middle.  The spy in the back will use the OCP on the light in the middle, just above the crate.  The forward spy will move forward and to the right into the darkness.  Wait for the OCP to fill up again.  When it does, the back spy will use the OCP again so that the forward spy can move towards the right side and past the boat.

 

You should see the small little boat you need to use to escape, approach it and the mission ends, even though one spy is left behind.

Mission 4: Train Station

 

Objective: Figure out Kim’s objective

Objective: Bug telephone in main hall before Chu gets to it to listen in on Chu

Objective: Deactivate bombs (3)

Objective: Get antidote from locker

Objective:  Eliminate contaminated soldier in bathroom

 

Opportunity Objective: Get schematics of bombs

Opportunity Objective: Follow Chu to the locker

Opportunity Objective: Secure toxin infected soldier has

 

You start out in a tunnel, quickly stand and run around the corner to the right.  Before you reach the chasm of death, hop up and grab the pipe and work your way across.  Drop down and stay to the right.

 

There are two inlets on the right, have one spy take each one.  A guard is about to enter and go down the hall towards the chasm.  As he passes each spy, head out one by one and go left around the corner and hug the wall on the left.

 

Pause about halfway down and wait for the patrol you passed to come back.  Wait for him to leave.  You will also notice another guard in the next hallway; he will turn around and walk away.  That’s your cue to follow that guard.

 

Hug the wall on the right when you turn the corner and wait for the guard to pass.   Then continue where he came from and hop up and grab the pipe before the barrier, pulling your legs up.

 

You may have to wait for the guard to return and then walk away, as there is some light that can expose you.  When safe, continue and drop down.  You and your partner are about to split up. 

 

But first, use the dual rappel on the left to lower one spy down the shaft and into the sewers.  The spy lowering his partner will then continue past the shaft and head for the scaffolding.  Climb it all the way up and then exit through the window and drop down into the area with a table and subway car.

 

In the meantime, the other spy will be heading through the sewers and will reach a ladder, climb all the way up and open the trap.  You will be one room ahead of your partner.  While you wait for him to join you, head to the left and go straight to the first platform.  Use the shadows and angle for the shack with the staircases.  You want to position yourself near the stairs and aim for the light in the shack while remaining in the dark.

 

Your partner will drop down and go through the train on the left.  Open the door and then pick up the bottle and wait for the two guards to turn around.  Toss the bottle for a distraction and then head for the nearest subway car, hop up and then across to the next subway car.  Then drop down and head for your partner.  Wait near the table with the laptop, hiding on the pillar between the shack and laptop.

 

When all three guards are away, cue your partner and use the OCP on the light in the shack to distract the guard while your partner uses the laptop to get some files of the bombs.

 

When completed, have both spies head under the stairs and wait for it to calm down.  Then head to the tunnel that is lit up.  Position one spy in the tunnel on the left while the other moves forward and aims his OCP on the turret.  One spy runs forward and disables the turret.

 

Then meet halfway down the tunnel and pick the lock to the next area.  You will see the laser of the first bomb.  Throw one spy over the laser.   He will head towards the door and wait to the right near the medkit.  The other spy drops down near the laser and waits.

 

One guard will soon enter, when he does, exit the room and head for the guard near the other end of the laser.  Pause behind the pillar on the right behind him.  Take out your OCP and switch hands.  Use the OCP on the left train light and then the right.  This will alert the guard and he will go back to the room you exited.  When both guards are in other room, approach the laser and defuse the bomb with your partner.

 

When done, the spy near the subway car will fall back on the left side in the darkness and wait for the guards to enter.

 

Have your partner meet you to the right of the door (right as your partner enters the area).  Do a boost and ladder and head towards and down the ladder.

 

Jump up and grab the ledge near the bags.  Head for the door and have one spy aim the OCP at the floodlights.  Use thermal vision to check the positioning of the guards through the door, when safe, use the OCP on the lights and exit the room and head right.

 

Have your partner follow you and stay in the right corner.  Turn around and use the OCP on the light on the left side of the room to distract all four guards towards the door you exited, you may also find it useful to continue using the OCP on the light to make sure they stay busy.  Then head up on the right side of the room and take out the lamp on the right side.

 

Continue straight and go down the ladder, you should see the second bomb now.  Split up and defuse the bomb.  Then meet in the middle and go through the hall below the camera.

 

Continue through the room and lock pick the next door.  Split up again and have one spy stay to the left while the other goes to the right side platform.  The third bomb is just ahead.

 

Defuse and then meet up on the right platform.  Head to the left and stay near the subway cars in the dark.  There are two patrolling guards here and one guard who should be guarding the stairs, but instead faces away from them.  How convenient.  Sneak behind him and go up the stairs and pause on the left side in the dark.  One guard up here patrols clockwise around the room.

 

Wait for him to pass and then follow him 180 degrees around.  Now, have one spy stay to the left and use the OCP on the light above and before the escalators.  This will create some darkness so one spy can head up the escalator and turn around and repeat the favor for his partner and sneak by the guard down here.

 

At the top of the escalator is a gate and booth.  Head for the booth and do the boost and ladder here.  The guard in the booth is just jamming.  Have one spy use the OCP on the radio in the left upper corner of the booth.

 

The guard will notice and go nuts and will kick out the door that you can exit.  Wait for him to do that and exit the booth.  Drop down and go through the door and head to the right. 

 

Head around the corner and take a left up into the main concourse.  As usual, Lambert will chime in with directions.  Head to the middle of the room with the booth and use the boost and ladder to get to the roof.  Head to the opposite side and then use the inverted drop and tap the phone.  Pull your partner back up and make sure your stealth meter is at zero.

 

Wait for the phone to ring twice.  Chu and his escort will turn and answer the phone.  When his escort spins around and has his back to the phone (and facing the stairs), drop down to the right of the phone (as you face the stairs).  Head forward in the shadow and then down the short stairs.

 

Keep going down the hall and turn the corner and find the door.  Use the optic cable to spot the patrol behind the door.  When he turns around, open the door and close it behind both spies.

 

Follow the guard around the corner, he will pass a door on his right.  That’s where you want to go.  Do not pick the lock, as you will likely not have enough time.  Simply break it.  Move forward and turn off the lights.  Head in and to the right wall.  Use the boost and ladder below the open vent.

 

One spy will drop down to the right and wait in the lower right corner of the room.  The other will stay up on the lockers and head to the left, making sure to put your back to the wall.  The spy up top is the spotter.  Chu will shortly enter, followed by his escort. 

 

When Chu is in about the center of the room, the lower spy will move around and make some noise.  This will divert Chu and his escort toward the lower right corner.  The goal here is to grab Chu when the escort turns around and heads back to the door.

 

Take Chu to the upper right corner and interrogate him and stash his body in the corner when done.  Now, the spy who grabbed Chu (James Bond future film title!) will hop up onto the lockers opposite the partner.  Head to the middle.

 

The spotter will now use the OCP on the light in the center.  This will divert the guard and allow the partner to approach the middle lockers.  Wait for the guard to spin around and then open the locker, do not grab the antidote yet.  Use the OCP again to create darkness and then grab the antidote and hop back up to the lockers.

 

The spotter will now join the partner on the opposite lockers.  Climb up and wait about halfway (near the speaker).  Use the OCP on the light again and this will allow your partner to open the doors in the upper left corner. 

 

Repeat the procedure and join your partner past the doors.  There is a guard in the hall with his back to you.  You will also notice a flashing light.  Yippee.  It is crucial that the spy without the antidote stays behind the guard.

 

Have that spy go to the right and behind the guard in the hall and OCP the siren/flashing light.  When the light goes out, the spy with the antidote moves forward and opens the door on the left.

 

Don’t worry about the flashing light once inside, you are in complete darkness.  There is one patrolling guard in the area with you.  Follow him through the next door and watch his pattern.

 

He will do an L-shape pattern in the room.  Wait for him to pass and then go through the room to the door he was standing at.  This is another locker room, wait in darkness for him to return.  Just one door in the area, so open and enter through the next door.

 

Here’s the bathroom with the sick guard.  Right behind him is the rest of the toxin, just pick up the object and dispose of the guard and turn off the lights.

 

Now you have to get to the lower levels and stop the rest of Kim’s men.  Wait in the hallway between the bathroom and locker, your partner has to join you now.  Use the OCP on the flashing light as a distraction so your partner can repeat your entrance and sneak.

 

When he gets to the bathroom, put your back to the wall and boost and ladder.  Go through the ducts and drop down.

 

Lambert will tell you it’s too late and you’ll have to jump to the subway car roof.  Only problem is that there are three guards downstairs past the escalator.

 

Hop up on the side of the escalator (right side) with one spy and head down.  You can have one spy sneak to the right of the guard below, but only when the patrol is away.  He will likely see something and investigate, so hug the wall on the right and get to darkness.

 

Now wait for the guard to go back to his post.  Then use the OCP on the light to the guard’s left.  This is the cue for your partner to head down the rest of the escalator and hug the wall to the right.  Join your partner in the dark corner near the booth.

 

Hop over the booth and drop down the other side.  All that remains is to shatter the glass by jumping on it just ahead in the center.  That will end the mission.
