Re: Please make it happen....
Goldeneye set the standard for multiplayer gaming and was the first of its kind.

Myself and many other who haven't posted it in this forum would give anything to kick it old-school again.

The profits that would be made on this would more than compensate for the doubts...

Anyway, I'll sign this.

Yup, as stated above, I've read several places the game was almost done and ready to go, but never happened due to the MS/Nintendo thing. I'm sure Nintendo wants it for the Wii's downloadable games. I don't see why they can't just both put it out. Come on guys, work this out. I'd buy it in a second. No one that owns both consoles would pick the Wii version over the 360 version anyway, so no worries.

Re: We Want Goldeneye On XBLA
Normally I dont use forums, sign petitions etc.  but this is one thing I definatley DO NOT want to LET GO. Within the same hour that i saw it was coming to X.B.L.A. I was crushed to hear that it was cancelled. This would be probably be the #1 hit in xbla . Bringing this game online with no change to the gameplay sounds too sick. Find a way Microsoft!!Please! SIGNEDYes [Y]

Show your support for this game by changing your mottos to, "Goldeneye For XBLA", then message your friends about it and ask them to do the same.

the fact its cancelled and there are so many people wanted it is kinda showing how detached these companies are getting to the actual market place. Give me a few million £ and ill do it promote my idea's!!! ok ok seriously tho, This is a MUST !!!!!

Come on MS dont like the Wii beat you to the chase!

Oh and the commment about people would rather have xbox than Wii version is so so. ..  I think Cod WW is better on the Wii than Xbox, the Wii is the closest thing ya get to a mouse on a console.
If Wii had put more effort into its graphics and FPS games they could get very far very fast.

Re: We Want Goldeneye On XBLA
I think more people would want the 360 version because the online play is far superior. I sold my Wii a while ago so I'm not sure what the situation is now, but last I knew Nintendo was still refusing to add headset support because they "want to keep the environment safe for children". How the *** can you play an online multiplayer game with no means of communication? This is one of the main reasons I sold my Wii.

Played it and thought it was cool but with a update visuals and online play I would pay 1200 pts for it which I bowed to myself I would never pay for an arcade game.

If this game came out it would surpass halo 3 call of duty 5 and gears 2 in sales and most online played game

Edit: It would be sick if it leaderborads, achievements etc like a standard arcade game would be sick so im putting $20 bucks away and wont touch it until this is announced and ill use it to get 1600 pts and ill be ready

All the articles are old so no need to post them anyways

If goldeneye was released on the xbla with multi-player then nobody would be complaining upgrading to gold membership cause everyone would just buy it so they could play this game online

Re: We Want Goldeneye On XBLA
Nintendo's never going to allow it, unfortunately. They know that most people that have a Wii have another console and if they release it on both, everyone with both a Wii and 360 will buy the 360 version. Who wants to play MP with no voice chat?

Nintendo knows how much they would make infact they can take a 80% cut but there will be so many new gold members that ms would still make profit win/win

Re: We Want Goldeneye On XBLA
I'd be alright with this.  I'm not buying a wii, Nintendo, so the only way to get any money out of me is to release some of your properties on XBL.

Re: We Want Goldeneye On XBLA
I still play GoldenEye 007 on the N64, the last time i played it was four days ago, id love to play it with my 360 controller over XBL.

The game is Timeless there is a whole new generation of gamers that have missed out on this Classic Gem,this game got me hooked on First Person Shooters and was the sole reason i got a N64.

It would be Great to see GoldenEye 007 get a burst off new life on XBLA.

Come on Big "M" show your bigger than Nintendo and do the right thing and bring GoldenEye to XBLA.

Signed for Sure

And thats exactly the reason why Microsoft and Nintendo cant agree.

The 360 version will pe prettier, and have better online, so everyone would buy that version. Thats less money for Nintendo.
