The same thing happened to me. When I completed the Estate mission my achievment did not unlock. I went back and all of the boxes for each mission were checked off on the select mission page. I played with a friend yesterday on one small portion of the oil refinery and it unlocked. I think I may have joined in this portion of the mission "In progress", so I think I missed one small section and just happen to play that portion and the achievement unlocked. I was going to play the story from start to finish anyway, but glad I got it the first time. You will get it, sooner or later. I hope it works out sooner for you. You may have done the same thing as me. If you have any idea when you joined in a game in progress start there and you should be successful.

Just go online and play any act  in coop as knight on realistic,that's how I unglitched mine.

if all the box's are ticked when you check ur scene selection then redo any one of the chapters on co-op as knight through XBL and you'll get it! i did the first level again with a clan mate and i got it.

FSP achievement didn't unlock for me either.  I guess if you go through it on Normal first, it screws you.

Tried this... Did not work.

For the Freedom Shall Prevail achievement make sure you play every part of the story mode by itself one of my friends could not get it and replayed the (entire) sory mod then got it

I heard  a rumor  that theres a glitch like the one for Gears of War Serious achievement(check Youtube to see what I'm talking about) ,where you try to sign in with a profile that doesn't have it yet,over the one that does and supposedly it erases your stats  on the profile that does so you can start over and get the Private First Class Achievement. Has any one tried it yet?

Same thing happened to me with the Freedom Shall Prevail achievement, but the next day my brother hosted a co-op game from the very start which I joined, and when I got to the first set of ammo crates the achievement popped up. Basically when I got my first Knight achievement it unlocked FSP.

You can also get the achievement in splitscreen with two controllers. So live isn't necessary.

my question this time is when or if Microsoft and Ubisoft fixes it wat will happen to all the gamers that didnt get the freedom shall prevail and/or private first classmen

will it just pop up one day

and how will they know who deserves the freedom shall prevail achievement?

I don't know exactly how they will go about it, but I assume that after the patch the achievement parser will run a check:

if player's rank is greater than or equal to Private First Class, the PFC achievement will be granted.

if every scene of every act has been completed on realistic, the FSP achievement will be granted.

but I'm not on the dev team, so this is speculation.

I want to know as I am 40,000 xp Off elite and if it will Unlock at the same time as the Officer Achievement or the Elite achievement and I have already got both I would be abit annoyed.

Haven't heard of aything with that. I won my first match and got that achievmeent but quit after that, but I haven't heard that one yet at all...But with the bugs right now who knows for sure.

I am doing the whole campaign as Knight, will I get the Freedom achievement?

My mate got the achievement because he recovered his gamertag on my xbox and played R6V2 before he played it on his xbox. he hadn't played R6 V on Live on my xbox so he got the achievement. If you want the achievement, go to a mates house, recover ur gamertag and get the rank there. It doesn't matter if you have a rank on vegas 1, the only things that matter is that it is not your xbox you play the game on first and that you haven't played vegas 1 on Live on that xbox.

I have been through the story in coop with three different mates firstly on normal, next two times on realistic and also no achievement, Didn,t have the first rainbow six  long enough to rank up much but have still not got the chievo for private first class, but looking on the forums loads of people have posted so lets hope they sort it out.

What really is a concern is the amount of lag in the game, I wonder if they will address this as well, but thank you to yourself and I think it,s Kleaneasy for keeping us all in the loop

Yeah, that's pretty much how I got the achievment. Except I did casual first, then skipped around a bit with realistic after getting about halfway through Nevada desert (which is probably one of the hardest single player levels in my opinion). When I finished and didn't get the achievement, I tried several different methods to see if I could still get it. Eventually I gave up and did co-op. Completing one scene (Old Vegas-Nightclub/2-2) as Knight got the achievement. Not sure how or why, just thought I'd let anyone looking for FSP to know that this method worked for me, so I may work for you as well.
