Got it! I accidently made star flower combos a lot when I tried to rebuild the grid after making a pearl. One time a mistake made a seven star combo, which really sucked. By the fourth pearl, I had had enough of grid building, and just wanted it to end, so I butchered my grid and the last two stars came within 8 minutes of each other. I made 86 starflowers total, and scored over 2 million in a time of 491 minutes.

Well, after watch so many Hexic videos in the past two weeks, I simply just had to try it for myself. After all, I was missing that darned Grand Pearl Poo-Bah achievement (and the Hexic addict but hopefully that'll come in due time). After several failed master grid attempts I was finally able to get the grid working and the poo-bah for 3,028,000.

Well done mate! It is addictive this game!

I just pulled of a 39 billion BPMMC today, used JDog's 18B design and replaced the far right SF cluster with a cluster of three pearls. Should have gotten about 55 billion but I did it on level 5. =/
Now number 42 on the leaderboards for marathon.

...I just realized I left a whole chuck out of my previous (and first) post. I've failed miserably in the past with the 18B MMC; first time I left out one SF cluster and accidentally had a BP cluster end and freeze my game at 6.6 billion. Second time I got lazy at mining multipliers and just decided to do a 14 multi mmc <_< 1.1 billion. Finally 3rd time I tried a C cluster on the right side and it failed leaving me 11.9 billion. But hey, I got 83.8 million in timed mode, number 18! =D

23.6 billion in timed mode using jdog's 18B MMC with 17 multis and 3 bp cluster. Froze <_< would have gotten top 10 ='(

Thanks. That 18B MMC of yours has got to be one of the most user-friendly designs there is. =)
Quick question: When you mine for multipliers in timed mode, what do you do to restore your time to the full 1:40? I keep a few extra stars and make a 3 star cluster and then I rebuild my grid. Is there a more efficient approach to time management when mining multipliers?

Yeah, in the far right I have a star ready to make, and only trigger it with 15 seconds remaining. Its a tough mode though.

I just did Slowgod's 75 billion MMC on level 5, but something didn't go right with the far right 4 SF cluster and it didn't take the ratio of the multipliers. Ended up with only 27 billion.

epezents 75b MMC is the easiest to make IMO, you should've tried that!

Both 75's are the same, I "think" beerknuckles posted it but then Slowgod and Epe said that they had done it before but just wanted to let others figure it out. It rarely fails; I did that same MMC over 50 times with it only failing twice.Just bad luck for you but it should work the next time you do it. Good Luck If you want to this 75+ MMC is prob the easiest out there if you want to try it.

In my current game I've done the 75  4x now and it failed once, giving me 37.5B (I didn't film it so there's a chance I screwed something up building it).

No problem, though I would prefer just "PhysX" since kS is my team title.
Just did 7.9 billion in timed mode. 7.6 billion (JDog's 18B with one less multi) on LV 6 followed by a small 20 million 8 multi SFMMC. Number 13 on the leaderboards. I wonder if that bodes bad luck... D;

DARN IT! I just successfully completed a 94 billion BPMMC, but somehow I D/Ced from Xbox live and it didn't save my score =(

Unlucky, man! Make sure to save and go to the main menu and check you're connected before your next attempt.

I always worry about this with Geo Wars 2, particularly as my internet connection atm is dodgy to say the least and likely won't be fixed until next month earliest (it's not mine, it's my family's, I'd have fixed it pretty much instantaneously otherwise).

I guess I'm just having a string of bad luck recently, or just in general I guess. Earlier today in timed mode the game just wouldn't drop the color multiplier I needed to finish building my MMC. Then it was followed by a BPMMC that froze and the disconnection from XBL without notice. =/

When you make an MMC, do you wait until you get all of your multipliers or do you just start building it when you have about 10? Because for some reason everytime I do that, the game just decides to never drop that color again and it leaves me frustrated because I'd use X color for bomb defense and it continually drops that color :(

Just had a bad bomb ruin my 50 billion marathon game...well hold on, I believe it was my bad luck too. I was hoping since the beginning to have a Y pearl and an inverted Y pearl; turns out the game had other evil thoughts at hand and instead gave me a whopping 12 inverted Y pearls in a row. =(

Well I decided to fire up Hexic on Tuesday to see what I could do after so many run-ins with bad luck. Surprisingly, not only was it the first time I managed to pull masters grid on level 1, I pulled two perfect black pearls AND I was also able to complete a modified 18B MMC on level 4 HERE. Then I pulled off a 75 billion (64 billion on level 6, sad face) and my marathon score rests at 77 billion. Just a couple minutes ago, I successfully triggered epezent's 64 billion and my current score is 142 billion. Hoping to shoot for 500 billion

Nice one PhysX! Are you going to go for a custom/personalised score? That would be cool. Good luck!
