117 Haven't used it much since I got it ealier this week, but people complain about hearing noise from my mic(humming/buzzing?) Also, everytome I join a game, people can hear me, but I can't hear them and I have to reconnect. I'm sure more problems are on the way.

I can say for sure that the update didn't fix a thing. Sorry for the misleading info. The following day it was back to disconnecting all over again.

My headset works fine for me.  However when playing sometimes I hear people saying "Hey Michael I can't hear you clearly"  So I think I might have a problem.

  • Just seen this posted in another forum claiming to offer the solution to the above, I'm going to give it a try because this buzzing is realling p'ing off my mates:-

Try recording a voice message, listen back to it and then turn down the volume on the headset till the buzzing goes away. Then go to personal settings on dashboard and turn the volume up there. Thats what I did, no buzzing complaints from anyone

Re: Post if your WIRELESS headset is not working
so basicly its still a headset flaw, where the mic is getting interferance from the speaker in the ear part.
another issue M$ should be fixing and not ignoreing, mine does a similar thing where it can hear, and transmits whats being heard through the earpiece, making a LOT of echoes.

i finaly got a valid (or as valid as it gets anyways) response from M$ from my e-mail inquiry.
after the cut'n'paste response of the FAQ and nothing to do with the sensitivity issue i'm having, they said to call them... call them, why should i call them when i've already put down my case into words on the computer and e-mailed it? so i can get return instructions for a replacement headset as they deny that theres any flaws in it to begin with?
lets all call them, complain, and get replacements, then continue until they are forced to fess up on the flaws it has, since that'll actualy cost them money, where this forum can as easily be ignored as out e-mails.

It seems it can connect automatically now since the update, and I can here people when I join a server without disconecting and reconnecting it. The patch may hqave fixed it? People do complain about noise from time to time, but I just turn it off and back on and it fixes it. I'm so happy now :)

I wonder if there will be third party wireless headsets.  They don't have to connect to the XBox 360 wirelessly, they could have a wireless reciever which connects to the bottom of the controller to prevent the connection confusion.

Everything except for the syncing problem here.  Tech support still says they "Have no clue there is a widespread problem".

I am getting the sync problem.

Will not work on Port 1 when wireless controller is on port 1.

MS need to allow us to send our wireless pad back and get a new one, or release a patch as the wireless headset did work for about 20 minutes the first time i used it.

Now it just blinks at me and then syncs on port 2.
