I played a demo a while back and enjoyed it i might go pick up a preowned copy.I read stuff saying Fahenheit the xbox original was similar Shenmue and i watched some gameplay vids and im definetly downloading it when i get some points and a Shenmue 3 would be nice with all the next gen graphics and all
And while im at it MAKE A JET SET RADIO 3 why does sega make the great games that dont get very well known by the community
My theory.... Sega used to be a great company. The titles for Dreamcast were top notch... Sonic Adventure 1 and 2, Crazy taxi 1 and 2, Shenmue 1 and 2. Even the 2k titles were remarkable.
But then sega sold out... the minute sonic started appearing in games with mario... a little piece of me died inside. But i'm also bitter about the Dreamcast's death. Which is probably one reason in alot of people's eyes... the other thing i think it is, they are stuck two years behind everyone else.
A game comes out and it impresses some, but most see something that already has been over shadowed (Condemned 1 and 2). Or they put out a pathetic game (Sonic Unleashed)
The plus here, Dreamcast titles on the arcade aren't impossible and there are probably alot around the corner. I mean Rez and Ikaruga both came (they were orginally Dreamcast titles, then ported to the PS2 and GC)
Sega doesn't care about this thread, nor how many times we mail them asking. Which is why I gave up a long time ago... I own the orginal for my Dreamcast.... I still HAVE a Dreamcast and I own Shenmue 2 for the xbox.... this is good enough for me. If they come out as downloadable titles one day, or Shenmue 3 comes out.. I'll be happy however I won't hold my breath. Three words.... Sega Soccer Slam.
