I have a Dell XPS400 with Windows XP Media Center and Windows Media Player 11. I'm using a crossover wire to connect them. But every time i put mp3 in to the xbox it show as (0:00) and it won't play it. Every thing else works the; picture and Karaoke. I got the game at EB gamestore used.
Unless it stopes you on the computer by saying some of the meida you slected was invaled there was an error with your transfer witch could be caused by transfering to many files at once.
Try yor transfer again with only one file at a time.
I havent installed WMP11 yet so I don't know if the problem is there. I'm using WMP10
This same problem has happend to me on many times and re-doing the transrers one at a thme always worked.
My only problem now is I think I put so much music on the x-box that the artis info dissapers when using the program I mean a lot of music the hand drive only has 874 blocks left.
Also if your still reading unless youre using the songs on the disk let the bar load all the files and remove the disk.
I've had much better sound quailty with no disk in the drive.
Looking for anime and game music to transfer chek out http://gh.ffshrine.org/soundtracks.php?r=42738

Okay, that works fine, but are you aware of what the discussion is about? People who have this problem are using the Xbox Music Mixer PC Tool to transfer their MP3's to the Xbox by way of Music Mixer, only to have it show up as "0:00" and unusable. These people, such as myself, have Windows Media Player 11 installed, and are not using any other programs to manually convert from MP3 to WMA before transferring through the Music Mixer PC Tool.
Our question for you is, HOW DID YOU GET IT TO WORK? Did you use some kind of converter program?
I've never dealt with MP3's, I didn't notice this was MP3 related.
