I've
given up on backwards compatibility for this game and the other games I've
listed in my related thread for Microsoft's convenience. They've had 3 years
now to get this done. If anyone still cares about this over there they are
being hobbled by the suits doing the bean counting who have decided that making
all the Xbox games backwards compatible on the 360 is not worth company
resources. Look at this ultra Xbox they're releasing. Do you see an HD DVD
drive in it? How about wireless networking? Just a bigger hard drive and an HDMI port that should have been on the original 360. Big whoop. Microsoft just dropped the ball on
this, split screen multiplayer (I'm sure they have something to do with that in
their push for Xbox Live), and now backward's compatibly. In fact many of the titles they say are backwards compatible freeze all the time or have other issues. Like Nightfire and Fable for example. Microsoft should have just emulted the Xbox system, installed that on the 360, and hidden away the details so ATI or whoever they pissed off couldn't sue them. But they decided to do this ***-backwards instead so it's taking longer and doesn't work very well. *** 'em! I spent $200.00+
at Ebay to get an Xbox, and will probably sell my 360 so I can get a PS3 since
many of the titles coming to the 360 are also getting released on that system,
and in fact the PS3 gamers are getting better deals on some games like Oblivion
for example. Plus I just don't care about the Microsoft exclusives like Mass
Effect.
Just give
up on this... It won't change a damn thing -
