I am signing this too... Who wouldn't want the FPS that started it all. Wow imagine playing in the facility with remote and proximity mines on xbox live.....I would definitely pay for this.....Come on Nintendo and Microsoft stop acting like a bunch of babies and come together and make money together on this product. WHAT?  Golden Eye kicks 007 : Quantum of Solace in the nuts... I'm just pointing out that there are similarities in gameplay, even maps, and it could hold you over to the day that will never come.  Besides, they fixed alot of the problems in the game that plagued it when it was first released.  But whatever man.  Not here to argue.

Sucks becuase it will never happen, becuase Nintendo are a bunch phucking @ssholes I was so sad when I heard the news, almost as bad as when my dog died many years ago. My childhood game was taken away from me, I was so close to playing my top 10 favorite game of all time with improved controls and graphics.

First off, that isn't correct.  Call of Duty: World at War took the top spot over the holidays for most players online.  I don't know why that is but that's how it is.  I on the other hand still play and would rather play Call of Duty 4.  Secondly, if you look three posts above yours, you would see that I don't think it is the same game as Golden Eye.  That would be like comparing apples to oranges.  But it does have that old school Bond feel and thats my opinion.  True the game was rushed, but as I stated earlier, they fixed alot of the problems.  I love the game.  Its so easy.  But I credit that to most of the people who play (99%) can't play the game!  They play it like Call of Duty.  That's why you hate it.  You get smacked around a bit.  I'd still rather play QoS over World At War.  That's my opinion.  Continue to flame me, I enjoy it.

naw what i am saying is that QOS is so easy it takes 4 1/2 to 5 hrs to beat it. If I am going to spend money on a game ( i don't have the firmware like some of ya'll, I have a regular retail Xbox 360) I need to get the maximum gameplay out of it. QOS doesn't even give me a challenge. Of course I died a couple times. It's just too easy of a dam game. That is all I am saying. I aint say the game is not goood it's just your don't get your money's worth. Of course everyone during the holiday was online for COD W@W why? because alot of people just got World at War for Christmas and were thirsty to see how the online play was. It is NOTHING close to COD 4. Trust me. I just don't understand why they swithed back to Treyarch when Infinity Ward clearly made the better game. You know it as well as I do. And no I am not flaming you... Im entitled to my opinion but it is fortunate that there are alot of individuals that agree with me.

I totally agree with the majority here. cod4 is much better than cod: world at war. And as for Goldeneye......it's the best game ever! In my opinion of course. lol. And to all who haven't heard, cod modern warfare 2 is rumored to be coming soon. At least thats what i heard.

It's Activision's way of milking us for our money. They know IW can't produce a game each year, so they let them make a good game every 2 years and let Treyarch fill in the gap with garbage. I did hear this is the last CoD Treyarch will be making though, so that's sweet.
Don't expect CoD 6 until the end of the year.

I don't post much but seriously I'm thinking of buying a new N64 just to play this game again. If this is remade they won't have to worry about the money.

I would love to see it. Even better I would love some improved graphics. Me and my friends used to play 4 player death matches on the same screen. we would play for hours gently caressing RCP90's, DK5, AR33's and Rocket launchers and lob remote and proximity mines with abandon. The only game we play that much was mario kart and blitz...and blitz has gone down hill and most of the awesome shooter games are single player or only on LIVE. DAMN Nintendo's greed! You think those Wii fans want to play Golden Eye? No nearly as many of them want to play it as we xbox owners do. We are the gamers who owned N64's back in the day.

i think I still have the game some where. I just don't have an N64. we wore out the controllers mostly. haha. I never got a red ring of death on my N64! I haven't on my 360 b/c I have it on a laptop chill pad (b/c the coolers made for 360 tend to not work or to damage it).

Whatever it costs for Microsoft they should just pay it. Goldeneye on XBLA would be a huge seller. It'd make current hits look like indie releases.
