Wow, slap a '2' at the end of the title, tweak a few things and BANG, we've all been had by Ubi for $60.
Same damn game, same damn AI voices, maps, music, and a weak, weak co-op experience. I'm sorry but, doesn't anyone else here feel cheated? Are you ok with Dante's Casiono going from red rugs to purple rugs and having someone tell you it's a new map? The theater, the library, it's a joke.
Maybe I wouldn't be so disappointed if the SAME game wasn't released with the SAME issues as it's predecessor. I mean, what did they spend all the time on in between the two releases? Since the game hasn't changed one damn bit (and don't tell me about sprinting- woopie!) wouldn't ya think they'd have spent more time on making the game work? Making a better co-op, making sure that when someone beats it on Realistic, that get their damn acheivement. I'm saying damn a lot, I know. This was one of the biggest f ups from the first game and they still can't get it right.
Achievements not unlocking, again. Major lag, again. Co-op sucks, again. I mean, if it wasn't for T-Hunt, there would be nothing in the way of a fun co-op mode.
Anyone looking for a GREAT co-op experience, do yourself a favor and pick up Army of Two. It picks up where gears left off with an almost seemless transistion from single player to Co-op. The game was made for co-op.
As for Rainbow, it can kiss my ***. COD4 blows this game away online, Army of Two shows us all what a REAL Co-op experience should be, and Rainbow Six Vegas 2 does nothing but deliver more of the same with just as many let downs as before. Could be the BEST, if it wasn't for the lack of creativity in producing a sequel, and a terrible watered down co-op mode.
My apologies to those who love this game. I can see why. But since I played the first one religiously, I guess I got amped up for some big changes and improved play that just aren't there.
