Ah got a guy i can understand. Oops i hadn't registered my 360, so he did that first i'm on hold now... umm ok yeah told me hada go up to the billing department and they'd look it over. And i should get a call back in a week? A week? everyone heres saying 3 days

Got mine back yesterday after a third chaser call - Chris from support said he would escalate it and expect a call within 2 days - I got the call back within 2 hours!!

I deleted my profile on my xbox and it did nothing to Hexic? I hope you guys learned a lesson to leave things be.

And 1 question? How do you format your hard drive? Delete everything 1 by 1. If that's how I wouldn't really call that a format.

Not a particularly constructive comment! Before Microsoft released the update, deleting your profile would also delete any associated items (including Hexic HD).

Some people have had other problems where they have had to format their hard drive which has obviously resulted in losing it too. You can format the hard drive - if you look hard enough, you will find it.

Result!

XBox Support just called me with a code - yeehah!! Getting on for a week late, but here nonetheless!!

I had my 360 the Saturday before release. Hooked up to Xbox Live and was having problems with Kameo not playing, saying it wouldn't run on a Xbox. Support told me to format the HD, yeah had known i was gonna lose stuff i wouldn't of done it. Didn't even know there was stuff on the HD already

I just dont understand why they can't make this a free download. I had to Reformat my HD a while back. Now I just don't feel like dealing with Support,

Correct. It makes no sense at all. I did get my code, but jumping through these hoops is a waste of times and frustrates customers.

Here's the bottom line: You cannot load Hexic HD onto a memory card. You must have a HD in order to run Hexic. The HD came with Hexic HD and therefore you are "licensed" for using it.

For Microsoft not to put this as a free download is unbelievable. It's management's fault. Maybe an oversight. But some supervisor should have made a recommendation that the put the software on Xbox live for free download.

Oh well, excrement occurs.

There are reasons why it can not just be put up there.  Obstacles that could only be avoided by doing it the way they have.

It sucks, but, that is what had to happen.

the reasons are they dont want peopel with cores to have it. its that simpel and that is the real fact that is undebatlable. i bet its fun getting raped.

It does not fit on a memory card, and anyone that buys a HDD gets it anyway.

Sorry to upset you Chad. But all I meant was I deleted my profile,before update, and Hexic was still there. And I didn't know there was a format option for the hard drive.

Hey double D, no offense taken. I was actually one of the people that went through my hard drive, thought "What's that rubbish?" and then deleted it. I'm probably one of the few people that your post was actually true for. There are quite a lot of people here though that have lost Hexic through no fault of their own, and are getting incredibly frustrated struggling to get it back

With regards to the format hard drive option, if you haven't found it, here's a link to a KB article on the MS Support site giving the exact steps:

Ummm i must be mistaken because i thought a core does NOT have a HD so therefore cant download HEXIC HD unless they purchase a HDD hmmmmmm silly me

The reason why it did nothing is because of the latest update MS released last month.  That update prevented Hexec from being erased if you had to reformat your HD.  Most people had this problem before the update.  It's obvious you have no idea what you are talking about.

Actually I do believe it would fit on a memory card, but MS has disabled the ability to put it on a memory card.  Probably so you couldn't take it to a friends house, without a HDD, and give Hexec to him for free on his memory card.  For some reason MS disabled the ability to move your profile for PD0 to a memeory card too.  I tried to move it to my HDD and it wouldn't transfer.  This may have been fixed in the Jan update.

I just lost my Hexic... but i don't want to deal with customer service.  I have had so many bad experiences with Microsoft cust service.  I don't want to get another headache from them.  But i will try anyways, maybe not today, maybe not tommorw but i will do it.  I want Hexic Back!!!!!

Well I has same plm as your with mistake format HHD and lost hexic !!! gggrrr try marketplace to get download it NOP! nothing other GGGRRR SO i been call MS and they give me a CODE for hexci and BACK yes!!!.. BEST for you GET call MS they WILL give ya code for it !!!

Well i have been calling for a week and i keep getting the same answer...... Call back in two days. I have spoken to at least five representatives and two supervisors so far. They told me 72 hours during the first phone call. It has been 6 days since the first phone call was made. I have been without HEXIC HD since  Nov 26, 2005.

well maybe i pick the most soft supervisor that he,her let me code for this!!! maybe i speak sweet talk and soft you never know ha ha!! keep try never give up i DID 3 times call ms but in the end GOT IT!!!

If you talk like you type that is quite confusing and not sweet at all. Actually they have to send the information to microsoft to one of the technicians to give out a code. A supervisor does not have the code in front of them.

oh sorry i am bit poor english i try my best   I advise you GET call ms and keep force ,push to them BE NICE and nice explaine to them why i lost hexic etc etc bah bah bah they WILL give ya code for it sorry my english is bad!!!
