Hey, I'm just as bummed as anyone else about the demo not being available in US 1st and the geame not being in stores until tomorrow (even though Kung fu panda and Lego Indy released today...) but seriously screaming and cursing MS ain't gonna change anything. All you're succeeding in is showing how upset you feel and lashing out like a 2 year old. Life is full of disappointments you need to adapt and overcome.1 more dy is not going to make a difference unless your terminally ill lying on your death bed and won't have the chance to play this truly awesome game. demo out in japan, and now everywhere but Canada us germany

i guess when they were advertising DEMO COMING IN MAY, was for the other countries, and even at that, it stil didnt

Yeah I've seen a few people throw that ( line ) out there the last few days in here. People upset about the demo. Yes I have a PS3 the last game I bought for my PS3 was Uncharted Drakes Fortune it was pretty good. I wished it was longer though. Nice little story too. But since then I haven't had much use for my PS3. Of course that will change when MGS 4 comes out. Good PS3 exclusives are hard to come by.

yea there are a select few of them out there, but atleast the ones they got are pretty good. resistance, mlb08,motorstorm,hopefully MGS4..etc..

yea there are a select few of them out there, but atleast the ones they got are pretty good. resistance, mlb08,motorstorm,hopefully MGS4..etc..

I wouldn't mind a sequel to Uncharted it has a pretty good ground for them to build upon. I liked RFOM that was my first PS3 game at launch it was good. And no doubt MGS4 is gonna be great. With Solid Snake taking the lead again the game can't fail. Anyways I'm waiting on my copy of NG 2 the gameplay is gonna be some of the best ever in a action game.

Grow up quick bud.  My first 80gb PS3 died after 2 weeks and would not turn on.  The second one I just sold last month since it's really nothing more than a paper weight and dust magnet.

But Yeah with more people buying a PS3 more PS3 are showing up as being crappy, most of the problems are with the Blu-ray drive and if you don't believe me then check their forum, you will see people with dead drives or check eBay, problem is Sony Boards are policed so tightly that anyone who complains gets shut down unlike here at the MS forums.

Uh, "grow up?" Oh, I'm sorry if speaking on what I've personally witnessed and read about in numerous venues qualifies as being "immature" in your eyes.

 

Fact: Microsoft even publically ADMITTED (after the damn system was out for nearly two years, to boot) that it had defective hardware issues, hence why they increased the default warranty.

 

So maybe with that little nugget of knowledge imbedded in your brain you might be able to grasp just how I found it funny someone was claiming they were only shying away from the PS3 because of "crappy hardware" when the 360 is just as if not more guilty of the same issue.

 

Furthermore, I know at least 8 people who own a PS3, some since it launched, and NONE of them have had their unit go bad on them. I know a least 3 times as many people who own 360s, and you want to know how many of them haven't had to eventually get their 360 repaired/replaced at least once? Only 3 of them, and they've own their 360s for less then 6 months too.

 

So get off your high horse. I'm not playing system fanboy here. I don't even own a friggen PS3, but the fact remains that the 360 isn't nearly as reliable of a system from a hardware standpoint.

I came in here to post I loved the Demo, but it don't seem to be that kinda thread. Incidently, my PS3 is a dust magnet too. I didn't rate Uncharted too highly, found it dull, Resistance is one of the worst shooters I have ever played, & as much as I want MGS4 (the only reason I wanted a PS3) with QUAKE WARS,NG2, GRID & BF:BC all out in the 1 month, it looks like Snake will have to wait.

I thought Resistence was lame as well.  Maybe it's from growing up with Half-life, Unreal and Quake on the PC.  Now THOSE games completely blow Resistence out of the water, even today. 

Honestly, I think Gears of War 2 is gonna put a whole new meaning to what a great shooter is. I don't see any other kind of shooter coming out in 2008 or already out that's gonna be better then that.

And they're not winning anymore for the record. Wii just past them in the west, and PS3 outsells the 360 every month. Looks to me like they're finally on the down turn. And that's fine with me. I'm quickly becoming a anti-MS in about every way.
