*Sigh*  I have no idea what DT's are; first thing that comes to mind is defensive tackles (sorry, CFB on the brain lol).  Anywho, get Mass Effect.  COD:WaW cheevos are pretty easy IF you don't get frustrated easily and can put up with HUGE amounts of nade spamming on veteran difficulty.  MP is a joke compared to COD4 imo, although it does have those 2 DLC map packs; I sold my game way before they were released though, so idk how the play.  The Darkness is OK, played it once at a friends house, the only problem is that to get some of the cheevos you have to amass a certain number of kills with each power (?).  So you have to force yourself to switch and change, otherwise you will end up with a fav power and have to go back through the game to get the other cheevos.  That being said, go with Mass Effect: deep game, lots of fun, just overall epic win.

LOL! Sorry CS. In this reference it means Dog Tags for the Wolverine game. Agree with you about Mass Affect. Once you get past the first couple hours it starts getting better. As for WAW, I liked it. I guess it's because I prefer WWII shooters. COD 4 was great thought, despite not being a WWII shooter. Modern Warfare 2 looks sweet as well. If anyone is looking for easy chevos try the Lego games, most chevos are pretty easy to get.

I like Guitar Hero World Tour and Rock Band 2, however these are two games that I will never have 1000/1000 on. Why? Because I can barely play them on easy setting. Embarrassed [:$]

Practice my friend. I was the same when I started, and now I'm a Rock 'n Roll Superstar.Wink [;)] I have actually went back to songs I thought were hard on medium and made it through on hard. You'll get it. Only thing I really have a hard time on is the drums. My left wrist starts to hurt after awhile.

On Too Human. My Brother in Law and I played the demo last summer for about 6-8 hours taking turns. I got it and beat it.

The only problem I have with the game is that you'll end up spending far to much time in the menus, changing your equipment and working on runes to keep up with your enemies as they level up.

You'll start to like what you've done to a weapon (minus blunt damage, increased HP, increase radius of Battle Cry, etc...) or finally find a complete set of armor (which may give a special bonus for the complete set) and want to keep it, only to find another with more HP damage or find it doesn't hold up in battle around the corner, and believe me there are alot to find. They just need to find a better balance to keep you in the action and out of the menus. IMHO.Yes [Y]

   Edit: It's more like you're playing a armor/weapon building simulator, then a Hack and Slash.Indifferent [:|]

Honestly... why bother?

I don't know about that. But maybe. I too struggle on the drums with my left hand. I was messing around last night. Bellowing along with some of Iron Maiden's tunes. Did better than I thought in keeping up with Bruce. Of course, I sound nothing like him. `cough` crackly voice singing Hallowed by thy Name, `cough` I sound terrible.

True MW2 does look great; however, I do honestly wonder if it will truly live up to and/or exceed what COD4 did.  I am 99% sure I will still buy MW2 no matter what, but I'll be playing MP first then SP so I can rank up lol.  I like WWII shooters too, the first game I ever played on the Xbox 360 was COD2 and I loved it.  And even though WaW was done by Treyarch (who did a subpar job on COD3 imo), it was still a great game.  I loved the campaign for the most part, the presentation was great, graphics were good, LOVED the flamethrower (roasted Japs, yum lol)...but what got me was the constant nade spamming by the AI around the 6th or 7th level of the campaign.  It was just too frustrating, even more than on COD4.  Plus there were times throughout the campaign, esp. the Japanese part, where it seemed like no matter where you ran, you were going to get killed.  I had fun with the game, but the horrible nades and of course the "noobs" in MP  (aka the ones who used nothing but the MP40 and juggernaut) ruined the game for me and I traded it in a couple months after buying it.  Actually used that store credit to buy L4d, so all in all, I think I made the right choice. I started playing these games at GH2, so I've had some time to get these songs down.  That plus I used to play the guitar for real (electric and acoustic), plus I've heard many songs before.  That helps too, when you've heard a song before, you kind of know how the notes go (for the most part) and that can help you sometimes predict what the next note is.  But like unreal said, it all comes down to practice; for the longest time, I never thought  Icoudl get "Free Bird" on hard, but eventually I passed it.

We'll see about that. I've never had the coordination to play a real instrument no matter how hard I tried or practiced. Sad [:(] I guess my brained just isn't wired for me to do it. But, we're talking video games here so I guess I could see improvement over time. Smile [:)]

COD 2 was my favorite WWII game as well.

As for Modern Warfare 2 i cannot wait for that.Loved C0D 4 so hopefully #2 will be just as good.Cool [H]

As for RB and GHWT you will definetely get better. I remember when i couldn't play the drums on easy or the guitar but now i can play on expert (i have theese on the PS2 btw getting The Beatles Rock Band on 360) so i think you'll get better after spending a little time with it.Music [8]

I'll bite.

It wasn't the combat that I hated on or the time it took to come out.  It came down to my expectations for dungeon crawlers- a genre I am very fond of.  I like my dungeon crawlers to be evenly paced in terms of leveling up and weapons.  From what I played you level up so often and get new weapons so often that it never really means much.  You never fall in love with a weapon because you will have a better one after the next fight and there wasn't much reward to leveling up so quickly.
I would rent it or possibly buy it if it gets down to $20, I just think with a little better character management it could have been great.

I had fun, for a while.  I'm a sucker for Vikings and weird stuff.  But it got too repetitive to me and I just simply lost interest.

I liked it better than Viking, but that game gave me this funky off number score so I will have to pull it out to round things off sometime soon.  Super Angry [8o|]

I guess I dropped in at the right time.  I just beat the Too Human campaign again.  It's really only the early levels that you upgrade so much.  But being "balanced" is not the best thing to do focus on being a bit lopsided when it comes to your skills.  I have to say it's been one of my favorite games of late.

I have been meaning to get that. I remember that I had been waiting for it forever from Gamefly and after being without a game from them for two weeks, I cancelled. The day I cancelled it, I got Too Human in the mail. Hahaha. The irony. I will probably pick it up cheap sometime. Thanks for the tip.

I know us Brits complain that we have bad weather and then when we get good weather we complain but this is too much. I'm having to stay inside with every window and door open, fan on and curtains closed. It's too hot to do anything apart from sit inside.

Sorry to hear about your hot weather. But, welcome to my hell. Mawahahahahah! Sorry. It's like that down here from March to October. I live in southern Louisiana. We have southern heat and loads of humidity to boot. We're surrounded by water and most of the area is below sea level. So the area is basically one gigantic Sana or steam room if you will. 99% of the time you can be doing some serious sweating in the shade with the fan blowing on you while drinking a glass of ice cold lemonade. It's rough. I've lived here my whole life and I'm still not use to it. Ick! [+o(]

That sounds hot I don't think I could cope with that heat. Living there would probably make it not so bad after a while even if you still find it hot and you have lived there for years.

I'm going on holiday to Spain on friday and I think it may be colder than here

Well, I got my xbox back from repair today and lucky me it's still broke.  So I called xbox customer service and I told them that my xbox was returned to me today and it is still not working.  The lady hung up on me, and I was not mean to her at all.  I think my xbox days may have come to an end.  I have enjoyed playing my ps3 as of late, so I might just stick with that.  I am going to have a ton of discs to trade in at game stop.

Nooooo, we're about to loose a fellow gamer to the dark side!  Rally the troops!  I would call back, but this time, ask for a supervisor, or if possible, just keep escalating the issue until you find someone to take you seriously.  Note this, try to call today if you can as you don't want to call tomorrow seeing that it's July 4th on Saturday and the number of reps working might be thinned.  Good luck!
