If he's a little punk, than maybe it isn't a match.  Stick out tongue [:P]  Ryan will be 13 in October.  He loves most of the COD games and Halo, but will play L4D and rents games from time to time.  He rented Red Faction at his mom's and brought it over this weekend.

Oh, and he's proven to us that he is a responsible kid with a good head on his shoulders so he can play practically anything, but absolutely no GTA or SR.

There is a "Game with Ambassadors" event tonight from 8 - 11 p.m. Eastern to celebrate Bungie Day.  I'll be hosting a room and the DLC is *NOT* required for my lobby, so please join in.  It will be very casual, so feel free to drop in and out as your schedules allow.   Once our group is gathered, we will decide what all to play.  I'm hoping we have an even 10 people so we can play some Social Slayer, but if not, we can always go with the flow.

Ms. Pixie may be joining us, in which case, we might have to set up a Pixie versus the rest of us match.  Wink [;)]

That's cool. I sent emails to friends that play Halo 3 and let GDL know. So who knows, there's an outside chance that we'll have more then we need. Then again. Hmm [^o)]. Anyway, I should be on tonight. Stick out tongue [:P]

I have an 11 year old (almost 12) who likes to play too.

So far in his young xbox life he's only really played a couple of MP games with Halo being the one he's played the most.

Oyi... Trying to get back into the real world now that my vacation is coming to an end.

No problem. Most routers are capable of both wireless and direct hook-up (Usually they have that little hard plastic antenna on them when they are both), Which I'm sure you knew that already. So your problem is that you would have to buy a wireless adapter for your 360 then. $99.99 new. You could always try EBay, who knows you might get it a little cheaper. Anyway, it sounds to me like it's worth saving up for and it would be better to be in your room. So it's better in the long run. I know this is blasphemy, but maybe sacrificing a game or 2 that's on your wish list would be wise in this situation. You'll still get those games, eventually, plus you will not have to disturb the parents and have your gaming sessions cut short.

What we were thinking is to get a really long ethernet and drill a hole in the floor right up to my room. If that doesen't work out i guess I will either have to deal with no sound or save up for a Wireless adapter. Thanks for the suggestions.

Happy Bungie DAY!!!

Hey Guys, Its nice to be able to get back on to the Forums.  I have been away far too long.  When I sat down tonight and got on I was "Giddy", odd how some things affect us while others dont.  I recently got reassigned to a new shift and location, a nice promotion actually, and this place has internet, so I will once again get to participate.  Unfortunately, its the late shift.
Anyway, I hope to around more often again.

Thanks for the Welcome guys.  I am getting used to this new work schedule..........midnights sux!  but so far I have noticed several benies from working the graveyard shift.....
1. My pale skin from playing Xbox in the dark blends in very well.
2. I can stop by for a cold beer on the way home at six in the morning and not be thought of as a homless guy.
3. Hot fresh donuts from Kripy Kremes make a great diner.
4. Plenty of Hot water for showering  before work, unlike in the mornings.
5. NO traffic on the roads at 10 PM.
6. Days Off equate to endless gaming hours.
7. Minimal expectations on the homefront.
8.  My cell phone isnt ringing off the hook.

How about you other late nighters?

I had my Ruiner radar on last night.  Smile [:)]  It seemed that every time I turned around, you were there, so I felt obligated to shoot you.

There was an incident on Valhalla where you kept disappearing on me (your blue body on green grass doesn't work for me), so I kept having to flail around and try to find the red name above your head so I could spot you again.  Was it wrong for me to have been hoping that you were having similar issues seeing my red armor at that same time?  Surprise [:O]

Thank you to everyone who joined it.  It was fun.  I will have to put together a brief film clip of a different incident last night involving Silvercube in an out of control Warthog when I was spawning in front of him.  I spawned and pretty quickly got splattered by a spinning Warthog.  It was pretty amusing. :)

Ruiner I have that Enfarine issue as well...I wish I could've joined you guys but I was still getting over my cold.  No need to dip my toes into competitive waters unless I am close to 100%.  I am bad enough...I know shameless, Xenotastic even... I am a Bungie Pro member now so expect more shameless plugs re: my awfulness soon.

Just downloaded BF 1943.  As soon as they get the server situation rectified I will be all over that game for sure.  I was having issues with my stats registering.  I was getting all the XP and badges, but I am stuck at 1 kill.  LA13 can vouch for me.  I had 7 in one match....it was a long match.

One bad thing about the game.  It has a timer.  Now I will know the exact amount of time I waste.  I hate that feature.
