Oh man Doom was fun but Doom 2 is where it all happend. I mean you got tons of levels and great fun. I bet wads would be excellent downloadable content and many people would get them. I want to do co-op with doom 2, ah I remember those laptop co-ops with my friends, fun fun.

I thought the online was great...

It only had 1 major flaw:

Too many open settings, meaning the host could set it to "Time: Unlimited" and "Frags: Unlimited", making the entire match pointless. Thats all they really need to fix.

I would love to see DOOM 2 on the market place, I would also like to see some harder achievements such as complete the game on Nightmare difficulty, team death match would also be fun even if it was only with 4 players.

Doom 2, yes...although I'm currently working on beating Doom on Ultra-Violent and its certainly a challenge (mainly just the barons), but beating Doom 2 on Ultra-Violent will take some real skills.  And then you have Final Doom which is basically impossible on the higher difficulties.

Yea I beleive they have plenty to build on, lets hope they come out with something Doom related in the future. Pref when everyone is waiting for Halo 3 next year.

Doom II would be freakin awesome on the 360 Arcade! I've been a long time fan of these games since they came out, but Doom II still wins for me.

I think anyone who enjoyed Doom would love to see Doom 2 out on the arcade as well. I'd get it, especially since there were more levels and baddies on it!

Well I played Doom 3 for my xbox, which was my roomates copy, but now I'm done with school and so I really miss playing that game plus I see its backwards compatible which is cool. I just bought the Doom 3 collectors edition which comes with ultimate doom and doom 2 so hopefully I'll be able to play doom 2 on my 360!

GET RID OF THE LAG.
Make it so you can change the level without having to start a new lobby. Currently this SUCKS.

I've never had lag on 360 for anything, but then again I play with people from my town or near towns.  The only time I lag is when I play with people from the UK or California it seems.

Do you think the achievements will be the same for Doom 2 as Doom 1?  If so, that stinks because beating Doom 1 on Ultraviolent took a hefty amount of trial-and-error.  I can't even fathom playing the later Doom 2 levels on Ultraviolent....here's hoping they don't add in a Nightmare achievement.

Doom 2 is where it started for me. I finished doom 2 b 4 i even played doom.
 If they bring it to xboxl live i would honestly have more respect for microsoft

That's one thing I've never done....Doom on Nightmare.  I would never attempt something so great without me getting some form of proof since lying is abundant on the net these days.  I'm very gullible mainly because I have faith in humanity (although I'm not stupid) but if you did that congrats.  That's a feat I have not the patience to tackle, but in all honesty Doom 1's Nightmare can't compare to even half the difficulty of Doom 2's....so I'd be more impressed with a Nightmare accomplishment on that one.  The biggest surprise to me is people were beating these games back on a keyboard way-back-when on Nightmare...now THATS skill.

Ha I always run out of ammo and start fist fighting when I do the extreme difficulty levels. Nothing better than punching a Huge Pig:P I think if they would bring Doom2 to arcade that they should put in the co-op play, doom co-op is so much fun and it was so hard to set it up back then too! lol

Yes I agree, I want a serious co-op option for example if someone dies they should have to sit out until the end of the level and hope the others can finish it.

DOOM 2 better have different achievments than DOOM! lol

I'd absolutely love to see Doom 2 come out on XBL Arcade, because without a doubt Doom is the best XBLA game I've played to date...and I would really like to check out Doom 2...and I also want to see how hard the Icon of Sin (final boss of Doom 2) is...

Maybe one of us should call Xbox Live support (or whatever the guys are that put XBLA games on) to add Doom 2 in the near-future?

Well I've been playing Doom 2 on the 360. ^ ^ If you buy the Doom 3 Collector's Edition it comes with classic doom and doom 2 (got it for 20 bucks on amazon). I don't think the graphics are optimized for the 360 or HD and surround sound but hey you can still play it. Also the live option isn't there but Doom 2 has tons of levels to keep you busy.
